Working with Oquendo Fencing was great! Edgar came by same-day to provide a quote on the spot. When we kicked off the project he was able to come by later that week. His crew did an incredible job removing and installing a new wooden fence and finished the project in one day! I was so pleased that everything moved ahead quickly. The fence looks excellent and I'd highly recommend them!

The work done by Edgar and his team was great, the posts that were dug and installed were done right and leveled, have my fence now for the last 2 years and it is looking great. received multiple complements. Oquedo Fence was great at doing the right job and coordinating appropriately to make sure that the job would come out perfect. Highly recommend this company due to the final results. Some advise for you if installing a treated wood fence, after a month or so you should get a good sealer to preserve the original wood color.

These guys showed up as planned. Communicated well throughout and finished the job one day earlier than estimated.

Setting up an appointment for an estimate was easy, I was contacted within an hour of making a request through Angie's List. The gentleman who came to our home looked over our job, laid out our options, and gave us an estimate. We had gotten two other estimates which were lower (MUCH lower) but we liked the professional approach of the Oquendo rep so we went with them and paid in advance by check. Our job was very small so rather than setting a specific appointment date for the work to be done, Oquendo sent over a crew the next time they had a larger job in the area within the next couple of weeks. This was OK with us, we weren't in a rush and there's almost always someone home. The crew did a great job and were very nice, they even accommodated my 91-year-old mother's request to make a minor change to the gate before they completed it. There was a very small change that needed to be made to the gate and after getting in touch with Oquendo they sent someone over a few days later to make the change. Our gate is perfect now and we're very happy with the service! We'd use them again. The only issue I had was when attempting to contact them by phone: Every time they picked up there was silence for several seconds and at most I got a "Hello?" Sometimes I thought my call hadn't gone through or that I had dialed a wrong number. I even got an incoming call from one of their staff who didn't identify himself so I had no idea who I was talking to or why he had called so I almost hung up on him! I mentioned this to one of the supervisors, suggesting that they train their staff to pick up a phone and immediately say something to the effect of, "Hello, this is Oquendo Fence."

They did the job in three days. They told me I would have to wait three weeks for them to start the job, but that they would call me if they found a gap in their schedule sooner. They kept their promise and called me earlier to do my fence. They started and finished on schedule.

Fantastic. They are absolutely the best. We were amazed at what a fantastic job he did for us, despite our limited budget. We wanted to replace just the top part of the fence. I thought it was going to rough going in view of the aged nature of the bottom part of the fence. But he managed to engineer it in such a way that the top is actually supporting and buttressing the lower part. And it looks so beautiful now, as opposed to the eyesore it was before Edgar got here :)

Unbelievable. This was our 3rd job with Edgar and once again he came through with flying colors, exceeding our expectations by a mile. He built us a disability ramp and deck, It is so beautiful, and sturdy, we hadn't even imagined getting some of this quality. Once again it was pure joy to work with Edgar.

Workers were prompt, courteous and expert at what they do. Carpentry work was exceptional and everything went according to plan. Job was completed on time and yard was cleaned up. I would definitely hire them again or recommend them to others.

Excellent job

It was fantastic. Mr. Oquendo was prompt, punctual, courteous, professional. He was very knowledgeable, gave us a a large number of choices, His price was very reasonable. He came back very soon to do the work, and his workmanship far exceeded what I expected. It was a 100% positive experience dealing with Mr. Oquendo. I recommend him without hesitation for any fencing need you would have.

Edgar was very responsive and came out the next day to provide a quote. He took the time to talk through the options available. He started the work one week later and most of it was finished in the 3 to 5 day timeline. However I did have to call him to find out when they were coming back to complete the job and install the three custom gates. I'm guessing this was due to the Christmas holidays. The crew cleaned up pretty well overall and even washed the fence.

The proprietor showed up for the initial appointment on time. He gave accurate information regarding when the job would start and how long it would take. The fence looks great. My neighbor, a construction engineer, commented on how well the team worked and the quality of the job.

The work was done very professionally and at a reasonable price. The posts to the gates are anchored in and reinforced nicely. The gate is beautiful and came out exactly the way we planned it. Mr. Edgar Oquendo was very patience and knowledgeable when going over the details of the design and installation. I had no problems with scheduling as I was somewhat flexible on time but Edgar was able to get me a time slot earlier than expected. I really appreciate his great attitude and customer service. After the job was done, the crew cleaned up everything and it was such a hassle-free experience. Highly Recommended.

I interviewed 6 fencing companies. Edgar was on time and very detailed in his estimate. Very knowledgeable about his product and what was necessary to get the work done to our satisfaction. I was so impressed with the meeting that my adjoining neighbor also signed up for fencing. The workers were on time and cleaned up after themselves. The fence is leveled and beautiful. One side was placed in soil and the other was placed in concrete. Neither appears to have been a problem. One con was that I lost some mature flowers that were not removed properly to pour concrete bases. Overall EXCELLENT SERVICE!!! I would absolutely recommend Edgar and his crew!!!
