"I'm sorry that you feel that way about the work, however i feel it is best for future users to understand our side of the story to why we walked off the job. in early july of 2017 we were contacted to rough out a new bathroom to the upstairs in a attic space. the initial estimate i gave them which was a estimate was $5500 they contacted us that they wanted to use us, when we went back and looked at the job more thoroughly we found there was additional work more so then what we thought so we told them its would be an additional $2000. they had the option to find someone else at this point, but they agreed on that number of $7500 and we moved forward with the job. the breakdown on the price was $6000 in labor and Materials to do the job $500 for permits and meeting with inspector and $1000 for the finishing fixture setting. We started the work immediately and in a timely fashion with coordination with the initial contractor and home owners as per they were "GC" the job. we met with the contractor and homeowner and roughed out everything to where we all at the time agreed everything needed to go. our roughing work was completed and we met with the town to get the roughing approval so the walls could be closed. all this work was apx $6000 of the total job and was completed in 1 months time. The people never voiced and problems or concerns with us and seemed to be very happy with the service at the time. It was at that point over the month of august and September i tried various times following up with the homeowners to see if they were ready for us to come and set the fixtures to finish the job. They ended up telling me almost 2 months later they had issues with their contractor and had to throw him off the job. I said ok and call me when your ready for us. I then received a call from them almost 2 months after that in early November almost 5 months after we had completed our initial work that they had a new contractor and wanted us to meet him. i returned to the house free of charge to meet the new contractor, the house looked exactly the same as when we had left 5 months ago all the walls were not closed. we explained what had to happen to the floor for the drain of the tub and where our roughing was. the home owner was also there for all of this. We then received a call another month later that the job was ready for us. to our surprise when we showed up the wall to the left where a closet was going was built out further then it should have been. in addition no hole was made in the tile floor as we drew out for the drain of the tub, and the ceiling downstairs was not opened up as we asked. we explained to fix the issues with the roughing of the pipes would be an extra $500 because it was not our fault. She demanded i do the extra work for free. The homeowner then began to scream at me to get out of the house and began cursing at me. I immediately exited the house, which i was then following to my van and confronted and be cursed at and screamed at as i was trying to leave. I explained to the home owners that they could keep the remaining $1000 they owed me and use it to find another plumber to finish the work. I'm not happy with the outcome and we are not an outfit that walks off of jobs, but at that moment in time and due to the nature of what was happening i felt is was the best option for me, my workers, and my business."
