"I am the owner of this company and I would first like to point out that this customer apparently lives in Andover NY which is not in our service area at all. Secondly I would also Like to point out that a window appointment is very standard practice , unfortunately we are at the mercy of all sorts of circumstances beyond our control like traffic ,weather or even un foreseen problems on jobs . we service over 3000 homes per year and most of our customers reasonably understand how problems can occur and know that we would stay at their home until the problem is resolved. usually they don't want us to rush through anyones job because they wouldn't want us to rush through theirs. I am sorry we couldn't meet your scheduling requirements . I would always suggest the best times for routine maintenance is spring and early fall this is when demand is lowest. First I would like to thank you for taking the time to write a review of my company , second I would like to address some of the statements you made in your review you stated that we had to delay your appointment due to no heat service calls . This is our company policy and standard trade practice imagine going to the doctors for a routine physical and someone accidentally cuts their finger off the routine physical gets delayed just as a no heat takes priority over maintenance your statement that it was 70 degrees doesn't address that the low that day was 41* as you can verify by clicking on this link . [hyperlink removed] . nor does it take into consideration that in November in Rochester the weather can change in a NY minute. as far as the technician arriving late we do our best to arrive in the appointed window or call to notify about tardiness however we are at the mercies of many factors out of our control. Traffic weather , unforeseen problems on a job etc. Lastly it is the policy of every company in the HVAC industry to put stickers on equipment in basements and to cover their compettitors stickers with their own I am happy to see that my technician followed the policy in this regards . After purchasing a $59 voucher on April 10 to have the single chimney on my home inspected & cleaned (purchased on the Angie's website), I scheduled an appointment for April 20 to have the work done. Approx 1 day before the scheduled date, I received a call indicating that the business needed extra time to complete a job in progress and I arranged to re-schedule the work to April 23. However, I received a call the following day and was told that April 23 was not a date that should have been scheduled as it was already committed for other work. I then re-scheduled to April 28. Less than 24 hours prior to that scheduled date I was sent a phone message indicating that add'l time was needed on a prior job. However, I did not receive the message that day and spent the morning of the 28th waiting for the contractor to show up. I finally called the office and was told about the phone message. I made it very clear that I was very disappointed in the scheduling policy/procedure and wanted a firm date for the work to be done. I then set up May 12 as the date. The work crew phoned me approx. 20 min prior to arriving on that date. Once on site, they went about their job in a very efficient manner. I was given a verbal inspection report in which the cracks in the chimney brickwork and chimney cap were indicated along with the flashing separation around the chimney. I opted to have the flashing sealed, which was done with caulking and a waterproof sealer at an add'l cost of $81.

I like the he actually come out for sort of an emergency situation with the furnace few months ago, he was pretty thorough. I guess I have to wait and see on that, you know, on the duct cleaning, it seems that they didn?t spent as much time as I thought they would have, hopeful the ducts are cleaner, so hard to figure out if they are or aren?t. They did a follow through, they come back to you.
