The experience was wonderful right from the start. The owner Chris came to our home to give an estimate in the morning and by that evening we recieved a very reasonable quote for the work. The contract was signed the next day.They arrived on time on the scheduled start date and were finished even before the estimated time of completion. Each day after the work was done we were very happy with the clean up and lack of intrusivenesss. The ease in which the process was acomplished was extremly professional. I highly recommend them.

We had work done in our home approx. one year ago. Very pleased with the work, but found a few spots that some detail work was a bit sloppy. After reviewing these areas we were unsure what to do since a year had already past since work was done. Chris made it a point to return and correct the areas.  He and one of his guys spent almost an entire day touching up these spots until we were completely satisfied!  What a diference it made! WE are very pleased with Perfection Painting and the hard work they did for us! Highly recommend  Perfection Painting!!

This company certainly tries to live up to its name and do a perfect job. They completed the whole job in 2 days. There were a couple of minor spots that needed touching up, and they wanted me to be 100% satisfied. They actually came back and spent quite a bit of time fixing all the little areas that I thought needed some extra attention. Also, they were very considerate as far as cleaning up after the job was completed. They used a shopvac to clean, and even used it while they sanded to help prevent the dust from flying around.

I was referred to Perfection Painting through a family friend.  Chris Hannold arrived at our home for the appt on time and well prepared.  The quote was received within a few days and we decided to hire Perfection Painting.  We were a little nervous because we had a few new windows installed and didn't want them covered with paint.  The crew arrived on time and scrapped the house and trim.  They worked diligently and had the entire house scrapped, painted and cleaned up within a week.  I also enjoy gardening and our home is surrounded by flower beds.  I was concerned about the plants because of the ladders and drop cloths.  Not a single plant was destroyed and we were able to enjoy our beautiful home and gardens for the rest of the summer.

I am an existing customer and asked Chris if he would consider traveling to my mother's home in Union Springs which would require over an hour travel time.  He agreed and sent his crew to her home.  My mother is somewhat fragile and having workers in her home could cause her some stress or possible falling if things were left lying around.  I'm very protective of her and would not consider having someone in her home I didn't know or trust.  
Chris' men were so good to my mother.  Helping her get around as they were painting her dining room which she must walk through to get to the kitchen and bathroom.  I was very pleased with their professionalism and courteous demeanor with my mother.
The work they performed was beautiful.  The cut lines were flawless and as my mother has told me time and again, there wasn't a drop of paint anywhere it wasn't suppose to be.
I am so pleased with the work done by this company and would highly recommend them, especially if you're looking for work to be done in an aging parents home.

This company is the best, They came to my home and were very professional, There work is always done with the utmost perfectionism. As is there company name. They cut in the ceiling line like I have never seen anyone do.  Not a bit of paint was on the ceiling. They were clean and very considerate with what I ask for. This is the 2nd time I have contracted this company because I had such a good experience the first time. They came in and were punctual and finished the job when they said it would be done. I would definitely have this company back. 

Chris and his team did a truly fantastic job. They were professional, punctual, reliable, and delightful to work with from the very start. Chris was incredibly responsive and addressed all my notes about touch-ups as we went along. I was impressed with how fast his team worked, and they finished the job in exactly his estimated time. I was especially pleased with the quality of Perfection's wallpaper hanging. I had bought very fine quality wallpaper from England that is thinner than most papers. Chris's installer was incredibly detailed and did a truly masterful job of matching the complicated patterns and installing the paper smoothly and with correct alignment. I feel very happy with the quality of work performed for such a reasonable price, and I couldn't have had a better experience. Perfection Painting is highly regarded.  I was pleased to use them for this job.  They began work with the assistance of my real estate agent while we were away for several days at the beginning of the job.  Specifications and colors were determined before we left using the painters recommendations for products to be used.  We are delighted with the results.  We recommend Perfection Painting and will use them again for additional work.

We were not satisfied because he repaired our ceiling. He had sent another man down here and sent him back and totally redid the whole thing all over again and that was wonderful. There was painting valve because they have to repair and he painted it. They were courteous, prompt, very meticulous, and returned and redid the job.

Christopher and his team did a great job!  The estimate as reasonable and even though it took longer that expected (NOT Chris's fault, another contractor took longer), the price stayed the same.  He and his crew were very professional and responsive to my needs (and I'm very fussy).  When the work was completed the house was clean and neat.  They had keys and the alarm code to the house and always left it properly secured.  I would definitely hire Chris again and have already given his contact information to others.

Our house looks brand new, totally changed the décor and look and feel, the walls where the wallpaper existed came out looking great. All the interior doors and cabinets were spray painted and look great. Chris Hannold and his team were a pleasure to work

They painted trim and walls in stairwell with tall ceiling and ceiling trim in separate room.  We were please with job.  They were responsive to follow up and touch up requests. They cleaned up well after.

Quality: Conveyed professionalism from the moment he came in to give us the quote: Noticed small details (cracks, girders, likely lead paint, etc.) about the rooms and asked questions about details that none of the other painters who gave us quotes provided. The attention to detail and the small decisions that got made meant that we had the clearest idea of the job that was going to be done.
Cost: Impressively, he gave us a quote that matched the lowest quote from any other company even though we knew he would do an excellent job.
Professionalism: The painting took place while we were away (we provided Mr. Hannold with a key). We live in a condo and the Perfection team was very considerate: none of the neighbors complained about noise/parking obstruction. He also collaborates with a cleaning company (owned by his wife?) that made our floors look cleaner after the paint-job than it was when we left (no cost added to the initial estimate).
Responsiveness: Just when we got back from our trip, we realized that one side of a door wasn't painted (communication difficulty on our end since we had asked that they do not paint the room on the other side). When we clarified our intentions with the Perfection Team, Mr. Hannold personally showed up the day of and took care of the other side of the door.
We will absolutely keep him in mind for future jobs.

I just want to let everyone know that this is a truly wonderful company to work with!! They are professional, prompt, courteous, neat and everything that you want when hiring someone to work in your home. Chris and his crew make you feel like you are the only job they have and they take the time and care to look after exactly what needs done and make sure that it's done right.  They did two rooms and a hallway -  prepped, 2 coats on ceiling/walls, finished and cleaned up in ONE day!!! I've had experience with previous painters that have been in my home for over a week so this was a dream!!! I very highly recommend using this company and I will be using them again in the future!

Christopher and his team were superb.  They were competent, patient, and extremely professional.  The estimate was reasonable and held true, in spite of more hours needed due to difficult wallpaper removal in two rooms.  Everything was done to perfection.  I felt perfectly safe giving Chris a key to the house.  This is a rare group with a rare work ethic.  They went above and beyond the call of duty, leaving the house sparkling and work areas spotless.  They work all hours to get the job done right, and on time.

We purchased our home this summer and decided to have the interior and exterior painted. We decided to hire Chris from Perfection Painting and could not be more pleased with the results. The job went extremely well with Chris and the crew being helpful and friendly every step of the way.  They patched many wall 'nail pops' very professionally and even painted a few doors at the last minute for no charge.  GREAT COMPANY and very trustworthy... They had the house to themselves for 4 days and we never noticed any problems whatsoever.  In conclusion this company is HONEST people making an honest living by working hard, doing their absolute best and never failing to smile through the whole job!  We can say without hesitation that they turned house into a better smelling and better looking home than we thought possible with just a couple coats of paint!  Thanks again Chris and the whole PERFECTION TEAM!  We hope to hire them again next year to finish our garage and basement.

Dealing with Chris was probably the best experience I have ever had with a contractor. This was a huge job. He started on time and his crew were always professional and friendly. There was a deadline for completion and they finished the job on time. Be aware you may see a revolving cast of workers but every one of them was a pro at what they do (paint, walls, cabinets, etc). We threw a couple of curve balls during the job and Chris handled everything with the utmost professionalism and courtesy.  Most important - I really felt I could trust all of his workers. Chris was on site for much of the job, and of course the final walk through. They did excellent work, and the price was a lot lower than other quotes I had received. Any time I texted, called or emailed Chris he was very responsive. The finished job is just beautiful - the house looks great!
I don't believe in perfection but this is probably as close as you are going to get with a painting contractor.

Due to many circumstances and a constrained budget, I chose to do the re-painting of our family room myself.  This included the ceiling, which I had never done before.  I did all the prep work, and primed (2 coats) myself.  It looked great.  However, the final ceiling paint produced ungodly streaks/roll marks (2 coats).  Desperate to complete the ceiling and move on to the walls, I found Perfection Painting (Chris Hannold) in the Rochester Angie's list July print edition.  He happened to be doing work in the area and was able to stop by to look at the problem the next day.  He offered advice on how I could fix the problem myself.  (He thought my problem was likely due to the too short of a nap and/or choice of ceiling paint.)  He also offered to paint it the following day for $100 + paint cost for a total of ~$125.  Given time constraints this seemed to be the surest bet.  His assistant, Ben applied one coat and came back a second day to "touch up".  It looked great!
I don't know if Perfection Painting prices are competitive, but quality and (given the short notice) service was top notch.  I'm very grateful for their professionalism and ability to accommodate my needs.  I would definitely consider them again for my next paint job.
