About us
PMB Enterprises, L.LC. has been providing computer-based diagnostics, repairs, upgrades, custom systems and hardware sales for over 13 years. The owner's personal and professional experiences includes working with MS/IBM-DOS, Microsoft Windows, Apple Mac OS X, UNIX, and GNU/Linux operating systems--almost 30 years. Service work is done on-site, is picked-up (receipts are given for your hardware and software) to be brought back to the shop for service, then delivered back to your residence or business, or through remote-access. The general labor rate is $50.00 per hour. Flat-fee service charges for labor are provided on extensive malware removal, refurbishing of equipment, most laptop repairs, restoration and light data recovery. If in the initial consultation we feel repair or upgrade is not worth the customer's investment, we will recommend against it and suggest new equipment be purchased.

Our company has migrated to specializing in the promotion, installation and use of GNU/Linux operating systems for the Desktop and servers. Where feasible, we encourage repurposing older computers that are no longer able to run a current version of Microsoft Windows with an appropriate Linux operating system.
