Description of Work: Ivy Lea still needs to contact me for a final inspection, but they completed the installation of one new entry door and two new storm doors on my house. Work appears to be of good quality. I really did appreciate the fact that they called me to tell me when they would be coming by to do the work, so I knew when to expect them. So far, so good with this company.

Description of Work: Contacted Company through Angie's List, who sent a sales rep promptly to do quote on replacement windows for my house. Rep took up 2 hours of my time, and said he will have quote to me in one week. 10 days went by, still no quote. I called company, who then contacted sales rep. Rep called and gave excuse, but said would have quote to me in 48 hrs. 4 days go by, and finally quote arrived. It was $10,000 higher than the next highest bid, almost $20K higher than the lowest bid for same job. Rep also misquoted on the number of windows and kind of windows required. So... 10 days late, $10,000 too much, and the wrong windows to boot. I voted with my wallet. No confidence to proceed further.

+ -1 moreWritten estimate exceeded the total purchase price of windows by two-hundred percent. $4200 for two windows installed? It was obviously that they don't think too highly of their prospective clients and were hoping that I'd "bite" for a big payday. They delayed my search for another installer by a week! If you like to pay an outlandish premium for your home improvements and be treated as if you were an idiot, Ivy Lea's your contractor. But I'd recommend you stay away.
Description of Work: Mr. Thiebolt from Ivy Lea came over for an estimate to install a previously purchased bow window and double-hung. Spent about 1/2 hr. taking pictures and measurements and sent a written estimate a week later.
