We apologize we could not meet your expectations, however; we take each experience seriously. After researching this job, the following was noted on the account. The call came in as an emergency call as the customer only had 1/2 power and lost their water as they were on a well. Our tech on call responded immediately and was on site within 1 hour. After diagnosing the issue, it was determined that the main electric service was severely antiquated and in need of replacing. Our tech informed the customer that a complete new service could cost a couple thousand dollars and offered to "temp" the service just to get the water going and since was on emergency rates in order to save her money. He indicated even what was required to temp in would be roughly $500. She was all for the temp as she indicated did not have the money and desperately needed her water. Incidentally, all of our jobs require signed work orders PRIOR to any work being started. It shows the rates and COD payment terms. The customer approved and signed our work order. The work was temped in and water was working. The customer paid by check which was less than the $500 stated. After our office deposited, it was returned for "closed account". Our office learned that the account had been closed for some time. So the customer intentionally provided a check from a known closed account. Our office left several messages to no prevail of response. Finally when our office left a more serious message on her answering machine, that the authorities would be contacted for intentionally writing a bad check, she responded and paid by credit card. Never mentioned anything about any issue or having us back out to permanently fix. It is no surprise to learn the temp fix didn't hold up as it was temp fix as she was told and approved and noted on the work order. After reviewing this job request, we determined that the call was returned the same day it came in as all our calls are and many attempts were made to send a service tech. We offer a same day service or standard service. The customer decided to not pay for same day service and was put on a first available standard service call schedule. In the meantime, as the customer was notified, our scheduler made several attempts to contact the customer as appointments became available. The call came in, quote "wants to schedule a service call to have power checked in garage" on 10/09/15. Our service dept RESPONDED to the call on 10/09/15. The power was out to the detached garage and was underground fed. We did our job as requested to VERIFY that the underground feed to the garage was bad. Our installation dept would not have been able to provide an accurate quote if this wasn't verified. The customer signed our electrician in BEFORE any work was performed so certainly knew what was happening and what the charges would be. Our electricians are not estimators. Once this was verified, our estimator in the installation dept would have provided a lump sum quote. Also, this was an insurance job. The customer claims the house was struck by lightning. We also had to verify that as well. Our office spent all kinds of time on the phone with the insurance adjuster in which we did NOT charge their time in the customers behalf and in which will be reimbursed by the insurance company because of us. Lastly, the customer was actually provided a $79.20 credit AS A COURTESY. This is why we are puzzled by this customer's review. We did everything we could have for this customer and still wasn't enough. If there is anything we can do further, please do not hesitate to reach out. For other members reading through the reviews. "Thank you for the business of your quoted project and your A rankings. Note this was only one man work due to the close proximity of the work in nature. Two men would have been bumping into each other. Also note this was a quoted lump sum job. There were issues with the job that took longer than expected and estimated where we actually went over in hours than quoted and because it was quoted customer was not charged for the additional hours required. Not sure about scratches as this is the first we have heard this. We do know however the ceiling in mention is a very old partially covered ceiling section in an unfinished basement area that customer stated he was removing and wasn't worried about it as discussed with estimator. As you, our staff works hard all day and our estimators last appointment for the day is 5:00 pm via our Install Dept. The estimator is scheduled on the hour every hour all day long. It is our goal to be sure that our estimates are provided to our customer within a timely manner. Simply put, we could not handle the additional load placed on our estimators in order to provide our customers with a professional experience with our company. We do offer though, a 24 hour service via our Service Dept that could accommodate your needs without estimate billed on a T&M basis.
