I would highly recommend fiddler roofing. They've been in businesss for over 25 years. They were punctual,competitive in price and thorough. AS a matter of fact they saved me over $400 when they tore off my roof and i didn't need the plywood which was originally thought. Obvious very honest and thorough. They're the BEST !!!!!!!

Crew arrived around 7:30am as promised. Very polite and respectful to our property.  Job was completed by 5pm again as promised.  I have repeatedly been reminded not to hesitate to call if there are any issues and that they stand behind their work. Altogether, very professional and job well done!

My experience went well. The staff did the work while we were not home. Our neighbor did send us a picture of the work and they said everything looked to be okay. The pricing was reasonable and I would consider recommend this company to others.

We did our homework and were quoted by FIVE roofing firms in town and spoke to seven of them.  The prices ranged from $12K to $24K.  We are not made of money, but were hesitant to hire the cheapest firm.  The opinions and styles were equally diverse.  
Fiddler roofing won out for a few distinct reasons.  
- The price was in the middle. This tells quite a bit.  Mostly such that quality is NOT too low, and the pricing is not inflated.  We look to hire honest hard working contractors. Fiddler seem to be our best fit.
- When we were given the estimate, we presented questions about a dormer in the back of the house with a lower pitch (2/12) and Fiddler was the ONLY firm to maintain that the shingle was a better choice then the rolled roofing.  Supporting details really convinced us that they knew what was best.  We have trusted it, and have no regrets.
On day one, we met John Petrozzi Jr., President.   John Jr is a gem. This was a giant job in my opinion, and he and his team handled it methodically and professionally.  The team arrived on time at 7:30am each day, and cleaned and drove away all debris each day.
John was ALWAYS polite, respectful and very calm under every circumstance. 
The job involved many hazardous conditions and unpredictable situations.  Any issue that occurred, was handled in a timely and professional manner. Most importantly he insured it was handled to my satisfaction.  In fact he made decisions and changes on the fly that improved upon the delivery of his product.  At no time did he ask for an increase in his proposal cost.  In my opinion, he had the right to up charge a few things. He did not.
Items he extended:
- Added a roof vent for a bathroom ceiling exhaust fan.  This was originally connected to a soffit vent.  The judgement call was made in order to maintain the correct air flow from the soffit to the ridge.
- John Jr. provided an opinion on the proper insulation and venting techniques to use inside a small dormer room that was to be gutted and refinished due to water damage from the leaky roof.
- Chimney points and maintenance:  after the flashing was removed from the chimney, structural damage was observed to the bricks. There were a free bricks with no mortar left in some places.  John Jr. brought it all to my attention and allowed me to go up and view it for myself.  He offered a solution that provided repair for all the bricks in need of repair under the flashing. (no charge was incurred)
- He and his team installed gutter guards (that I purchased) into all of the high and difficult to reach gutter lines. 
John Jr. is a young energetic guy and works as hard as anyone on his team.  He has quite a few men that have worked for him and his father for over 10 or 15 years.  They were all very professional and hard working.  I thanked them on day two or three by buying lunch for the crew.   
I would hire them again and recommend them to anyone.

This is a very old garage. the roof was deteriorated to the point where it leaked and some of the wood rotted away. To fix the roof, a layer of shingles and a layer of wood shakes had to be removed, and the roof rebuilt (new plywood, vapor barrier drip edges and shingles).
I got two quotes, one from a local installer, and one from Fiddler. The Fiddler quote came in 30% lower than the local guy, and so I went with Fiddler. All I can say is that they did an outstanding job. Even the cleanup was perfect. I would not hesitate to hire them again when my house is in need of a new roof.

They were excellent and I was very happy with their work.

The representative who visited our home was very professional and down-to-earth. All of his workers are employees of Fiddler Roofers, not subcontractors and they are insured. I felt better about going that route. This wasn't the cheapest bid we received for the job, nor the most expensive, but I was happy we went with Fiddlers. They did exactly what they said they were going to do, in one day! The workers were all courteous and cleaned up after themselves. I feel confident in this job and recommending this company to others.

They were competitive with other roofers.  I probably could have done better pricewise but then I might not have been as happy with the final job and my over all experience.  They were attentive to details and when there were issues, as there always are,  found  ways to resolve them with as little inconvenience as possible.  Its obvious these guys have a lot going on, but were still able to provide me with a quality job with good service at a fair price.  In all the work took about 2 days.  The clean up was first class.  Also good there were no complaints from the neighbors.  The garage sits right on the property line of two different houses and they were able to completely gut the old roof re-plywood it and tile without any collateral damage.  Great work Fiddler.

They were hard to reach in June a few weeks ago. Eventually I sent a message via Angies List and mentioned the coupon. Mr Petrozzi came up to do the inspection himself immediately on June 25th. He had a very professional thorough attitude. Explained in detail what had to be done, what options were there.
We talked about my contacting him as soon as I had financing available to start work (sometime in July). 
However I have been trying to call them, left voice messages and then this morning I sent a message via Angie's List. I needed them to start work this month and finish it before August 4th. They have not responded at all,
 I will be forced to find another roofer and start the whole process all over again. This is really disappointing since I was ok with their estimate and ready to move forward with them.

Outstanding in all aspects. I had set up appointments for estimates with a few roofing companies and Fiddler was the first one scheduled to come. I was so impressed with the presentation from Tim that I signed the contract that day and cancelled the rest of the appointments.
The roofing job was started and finished during the dates we agreed upon. The entire roof was completed in one day with a crew of 8 or so workers. The workers were very professsional and did a great job from start to finish. When they were completed, other that having a new roof, you would not have known they were here. They left the yard spotless and did no damage to any trees or plants around the house.
My neighbors have commented on what great looking new roof I have.

Very knowledgeable and courteous estimator.  The work was done as agreed.  They had to come back the next morning to finish.  We were very pleased with the job.

Called on Wednesday, 2/27/13...never rec'd a call back

Contacted the company and received an on-the-premises roof estimate by a knowledgeable estimator and decided to go with their product.  The workers were prompt starting their job and afterwards cleaned up any materials.  Prompt payment was made which included the company discount that was listed on the Angies Listing.

I was spoiled.  Fiddler came over and took their time looking at my house and roof including the garage which is separate.  John Perozzi spent hours explained all my shingle options and venting options and gave me a complete and detailed estimate.  I had other roofing companies that didnt spent 5 minutes and came in much higher for alot less. When they completed the job in 1.5 days they cleaned up very well and did everything they promised.  I had a section of gutter I did change my mind about and  I did call them and ask for them to replace and they did it immediately and never charged me any additional money.  I am very pleased with their work and also they give you like a 12 year guarantee for their work as well...and the other companies had nothing like that on their contracts.

We contacted Fiddler Roofing for an estimate and they arrived on time when expected, and explained all the aspects of the materials and products they would use.  They gave us an estimate that was right in line with the 2 other companies we contacted.  We decided to use Fiddler Roofing first, because of their professionalism, and second, because they were highly recommended by a co-worker.  We were not disappointed.  Before the estimated start date, we received a call from the company owner explaining that they did get a bit behind schedule, but would be able to start the job the next week.  He called the next Sunday and advised us that his crew would arrive @ 8am the next morning.  They were right on time, and the crew leader explained to me exactly what they would be doing and asked if we had any questions...Rain halted the work the first day, but the crew covered the exposed bare roof, and we didn't experience any leaks.  The next morning, 2 crews arrived and had the job completely finished in no time.  There was very little evidence that they had even been there, with the exception of a beautiful new roof!  I would highly recommend this company to anyone who asked.

Call them for a estimate, we agreed on 12:00 pm at 12:15pm he called and said that he was running late and was on his way. 15 minutes later he arrived and performed the estimate, We went with another company even know they were a couple hundred dollars cheaper, should have called prior to being late not a good start.

Job went great. Started on time, finished on time.  No problems at all.

Had several estimates, but went with this company as I met with the owner after getting estimate. Companies price was better than all others, as some gave estimate with possibility it could cost more, but unsure how much more. Owner stated they were about 3 weeks out from staring job and we would be called when they were coming out. In the meantime, I had to remove tree branches/ bushes and vines that had overgron parts of roofing. Company called as they had promised and removed more of branches than I had. Roofing is up and looks great.
