Highly recommend them. Matthew was quick to respond to my request, was very processional and offered a competitive price. They showed up on time and finished the work in good time. They are also certified radon mitigation contractors in NYS, many contractors are not.

We chose Acceptable Environment because of the level of service and reviews we saw online. They were missing a pipe and left the work unfinished. And we had to literally chase them for 2 months until they completed the job. It was very disappointing. We were expecting a different level of service.

Clean job, showed up on time and completed job in less than one day.

Had an ongoing radon problem, peaking at 12pCi in the basement and 8pCi on the main floor. Acceptable Environment worked with me to find a convenient time, came to explore a workable solution and provided me with a reasonable quote. During installation, we encountered an unexpected structural problem with the house. They reworked a solution, installed the system and due to the changes in the original plan the final bill was actually lower than the initial quote. Our radon levels are now consistently <2pCi in the basement and <1pCi on the main floor. Professional, courteous, and knowledgable - Absolutely recommended.

Prompt, courteous and speedy resolution to the radon problem. Clearly explained to me the situation and the way the mitigation system worked and left me no clean-up work. The price was very reasonable. Although they are located near Newburgh, NY an hour and a half drive from my home there was no additional charge for travel distance.
