The only problem I had was that they forgot to cover the chandelier in my dining room and I found spots of paint when I went to clean it after the job, but they did move and cover the general furniture. The walls looks great! They were punctual and responsive throughout the entire job. Very efficient.
Description of Work: They painted my living room, dining room and kitchen.

 + -1 moreDennis Fox was a complete professional. Work area was cleaned up each day. Covering was taped on the interior of each cabinet. Problems were dealt with efficiently. He was open to suggestions and came up with good solutions to problems. He was relaxed and pleasant. I have recommended him to others.
Description of Work: Primed and painted kitchen and cabinets. Removed layers of old flooring and installed new floor. Put in new lighting. Searched and found and installed white kitchen with faucets.

 + 1 moreI am unhappy that Angie's list had so few contractors in my area. I live in Rockland County, NY. Most of the contractors available to me were in middle or southern NJ or upstate NY. I am not happy with this service and probably will not use again unless I am told that this would change. Even the company discussed above was out of Manhattan.
Description of Work: The owner of the company showed up promptly whe he said he would. He examined my bathroom for a complete renovation and then promised to e-mail an estimate to me. He seemd professional and clean. He called me about 1 1/2 weeks later to apologize that he had not yet sent me the estimate as promised. I said, "no problem'. I never heard from him again and it is now about three weeks since the last communication.

 + 3 moreThe work was done as promised, on time, and my mother was thrilled with the courtesy and friendliness of the crew. One door needed unexpected work, and Mr. Fox sent someone back out from Manhattan immediately to adjust and refinish the door in question.
Description of Work: My mother had three estimates (local Long Island builders) for extensive remodeling and repair on her house on Long Island. The estimates were from $85,000.00 to $62,000.00. Mr Fox did all the work (and more, finally) for $18,000.00, which included driving from Manhattan to East Hampton (with equipment and crew of three) and living on site for five days until the job(s) were finished (new wraparound deck, major roof repair, door replacement, etc)
