If you live in Manhattan and you need work on a Lenovo lap top, Lincoln is the ONLY place to go. Jose is friendly, supper smart, and FAST. He replaced my old hard drive with a new solidstate one and my computer is 20 times faster today than it was day before yesterday. Reasonably priced! A great New York institution. Charles Kaiser

continuing from above: they checked it out and called the next day.  explained that a virus had corrupted the operating system, and I had two choices.  I opted for the simpler one:  they explained that the system was still corrupted but should work.  they'd fixed the fix on the back up issue.  It didn't cost me anything extra.  If I had opted for the more complete fix, my first $75.00 would have been netted against the larger total fix price.
I found them professional, responsive and friendly.  White I was in the store, people dropped in with questions and problems and they were responsive, sometimes giving hands on help without charging anything.  I liked them and would use them, even though I live 40 blocks away.

Milton arrived punctually, and was pleasant and professional. He fixed our non-functioning wireless system by supplying a new router. Our 5-year-old Mac desktop had been freezing several times a day and showing horizontal lines on the screen. He removed the computer's back and cleaned the dust from the fan while warning us that the computer was "telling us something" and we should consider getting a new one.  The charge was $250 for service and $179 for the new router. Since his visit 10 days ago, the wireless system has been fine and the freezing problem has occurred maybe twice (that is, much less frequently), and no more horizontal lines on the screen. The cost might be high (with today's technology, you'd have to be a tech person to know), but I had been struggling with these problems for a couple of days and it was worth the convenience to have a knowledgeable person come to our home and get the system up and running.

Should ask for estimates----had to call twice to get one response----one of two individuals was not truly professional---overall good service and completed all assignments.

Lincoln Business Machines were not here very long and it was a very minor job that we had them do. We've used them several times in the past and I would recommend them. We haven't had any problems with them.

We have used Lincoln Business Machines twice before when we had problems with our personal computer so we know they would be good. this time as before they were excellent....professional. They got th job done in no time and made sure that it was done right. Now our former nanny has a computer that works and her child care business is back all organized again. when you use LIncoln you know it is done right.

We have used them a couple of times.  They did a very good job actually and that's why we called them twice.  They were very good.

They misdiagnosed the problem and it turned out to be a hopeless situation, but they didn’t know that at the beginning.  They tried hard and they had my printer for some time.  I spent money on new cartridges and I only paid them $25 even though they did a lot of work on it.

I delivered the machine in the morning, got a call later in the day diagnosing the problem, and was told when I could pick it up. Service was very prompt, it took less than a day. Pickup was without problem. 

They are very good. It is a good operation. I found them very useful, helpful and knowledgeable. Their knowledge stood out.

We are very happy with the service. They gave us a quote but when we went to go pick up the computer the price had gone up. They quoted us for $275 but they asked for $400; we finally agreed on $300. We are happy with the work they did but I did not like that they changed the price in the last minute.

I brought my laptop in to them, they said they could have it ready the next day if I wanted it then (which I didn't). When I picked it up, they did a little minor tweaking and it now works better than it ever did.

Milton White was pleasant, patient and clear with his suggestions and instructions. He volunteered unasked information. All in all, I felt completely confident.

I cannot say enough good words about Lincoln Business Machines in general and about Jose who worked with us in particular. The computer runs quickly now. Jose explained what he was doing as he was doing it. We had some residual trouble with the printer. My husband called on the phone the next day and it was rectified during the phone call. Amazing service. I feel that we have found a gem of a company!

My computer was running slow and I didn't know why. Technician came out, downloaded a few programs to clean it up, told me I needed more memory, downgraded me from IE7 to IE6, and did a few other things that helped tremendously. The first call was $135 (1 hour min.). This felt like a bargain. Came back a few days later with the new memory and they installed it. That visit was $135 plus $140 for the memory. Only took him 15 minutes to install the memory, so I thought $135 minimum was steep for a second visit (especially because it had already improved so much from what he did the first time that I didn't really feel like I needed it anymore), but my computer is 100% better, faster, etc. and technician was very knowledgeable, quick and efficient.

I have tried for three months to determine the problem with my computer. The rep. came to my apartment, took one look and said it was the video card. He took my computer, checked with Dell about my warranty and I had the computer back in working order within 1 hour.

Excellent. The repair person came within an hour of my phone call. He also brought a replacement internal hard drive.

The first guy they sent was on time and professional, pretty nice, but impatient. Was not interested in answering too many questions. Couldn't wait for me to find my original Windows disc, so used version they had at the shop, causing me to loose the games, which came with my older version. They corrected this a couple of days later with another home visit at no charge, but the person they sent seemed to feel this job was beneath him and was not very pleasant. Good service, but can act as though they are doing you a favor and need to check the ''techie smugness'' at the door.
