Jane Henry Studios, established in 1989, is a full-service antique restoration business, located in the Hudson Yards area, between Chelsea and Midtown. We offer gilding, lacquer and chinoiserie restoration. Our work with wood includes: staining and finishing, French polishing and wax finishes, veneer repair, specialty finishes and structural repairs on European and American antiques, as well as Twentieth Century Modern furniture.We can also schedule a days work, on-site, in your home, where we can take care of a punch list of touch-ups, including scratches, chips, and breaks. We welcome the opportunity to be of service to you. We also do fine art conservation, gilding and gilding restoration, stone repair, ceramic repair, and leather repair.

The projects were two sets of antique furniture, an inlaid bedroom set and a dining room set. The repair and refinishing was done in my home. The work was done with great care not to disturb my apartment. I am amazed at how the repairs match the original colors and just how beautiful the restorations are.

Jane is a true professional that takes pride in her work! I dropped off a night Stand which had a dent located on the front of the top surface from being moved. The piece was delivered to Jane's studio on Friday and she had it completed for delivery the following Monday. The repair was impeccable and you could not see where the repair had been made. The finish was perfect with excellent color and grain match. I would highly recommend furniture refinishing and repair with Jane Henry Studios.

My favorite lounge chair broke a week before we organized a party at our home here in NYC . I found Jane Henry Studios here on Home Advisor : I emailed her on Saturday morning Got an immediate response Send some pics of the damage Got a quote The chair was picked up on Monday I had it back on Wednesday afternoon All this service for a fantastic job and a great price ....and Jane is a very nice lady , which I got to experience when I had her actually on the phone 3 days into our project together!!!
