Jane Henry Studios, established in 1989, is a full-service antique restoration business, located in the Hudson Yards area, between Chelsea and Midtown. We offer gilding, lacquer and chinoiserie restoration. Our work with wood includes: staining and finishing, French polishing and wax finishes, veneer repair, specialty finishes and structural repairs on European and American antiques, as well as Twentieth Century Modern furniture.We can also schedule a days work, on-site, in your home, where we can take care of a punch list of touch-ups, including scratches, chips, and breaks. We welcome the opportunity to be of service to you. We also do fine art conservation, gilding and gilding restoration, stone repair, ceramic repair, and leather repair.
