She did good job in my aunt house. She cleaned the house as best as she could.

Cleaning was very thorough and expectations well set.

They were so professional and kind. It's not a cheap job deep cleaning after decades of neglect, but it was worth every penny. I can't recommend this service enough.

I used Ideal several months ago to do a final cleaning of a Manhattan apartment that was up for sale. The apartment was empty. The owner was very responsive when I called and we scheduled the work to be done the same week. ( I was in a time crunch situation). The girl who came had all her tools in a suitcase. She was professional, polite and did a good job. I would use Ideal again

They came on time and finished on time, and loved my cat!  My home has never been cleaner.  

Reliable, pleasant, did a very good job, the charges were exactly what was described before work started. Fair assessment of dirt level.

I have been using Ideal for over a year now to clean my apartment. Apalonia is great. Very responsive and very professional when it come to running the office. Details don't slip by from week to week. She remembers your requests and stays on top of it. Any member of the small team she employs to come clean has been exceptional. I typically have the same provider every week and she is excellent. Great attention to detail and consistent quality. I could not recommend this company enough, finding a quality cleaning service can be a fickle matter. Ideal hits the mark on all aspects.

To start out let me say that I hate cleaning, so needless to say my apartment was looooong over due for an intense cleaning. Ideal Cleaning came to the rescue and did an excellent job. They knew exactly what to do. The service was professional and they accomplished a lot of work in the time allotted. I highly recommend Ideal Cleaning.

The cleaning assistant Jeiza is very nice, responsible, comes on time and is very trustworthy. She cleans everything very thoroughly.

Apolonia was very responsive and accommodating in setting up my cleaning. Jeiza and Robert arrived on time and did a fantastic job. Both apartments were spotless when they were done. They were also very nice and extremely professional. Apolonia runs a terrific company, and provides excellent housecleaning services. She is a total professional, and I recommend her without reservation.

Jeiza and Robert cleaned the 2 apartments again today, and again they were spotless. This is an excellent company.

They were dedicated and did an excellent job getting out stains with their hands and equipment. Very efficient with no time wasted. They cleaned up old stains that had been there for years and made the apartment look great. The owner Appalonia was very hands on and professional.

***I have updated (raised) my grades because Apolonia from Ideal Cleaning read this review and did everything in her power to make things right.  Based on her response, I feel Ideal Cleaning subsequently earned better marks for Responsiveness and Professionalism, which also raised the grade for Overall.

I will leave the rest of this review because it does accurately reflect my experience. However, I assume by Apolonia's sincere response that my experience probably isn't the norm for Ideal Cleaning.

Here is my original review

I moved back into my apartment after having rented it out, so I wanted a "deep clean"
First. I have to take some responsibility for the poor result. I did a walk-though with the cleaner before he left, but I didn't double-check a lot of the places he told me he had cleaned (under the bed, baseboards behind furniture, under and behind the books on the book shelves). Turns out, he skipped almost everything that wasn't in plain sight, and I didn't realize it until after he left.
On the day of the appointment, a young guy (I'm sorry I forgot his name) showed up on-time and with supplies. We did a walk-through. This was supposed to be a "deep clean" so I told him I wanted all surfaces cleaned, including doors, blinds, the insides of cabinets and closets, and the bookshelves... I specifically mentioned that I wanted the books removed and put back for a full cleaning.  He took notes and called his boss, who got back to me with a price.  So, it all started well.
When I returned to my apartment 4 hours later, he told me he was done.  The books and other things I had out looked as if they hadn't been moved, but I thought maybe he was really meticulous about putting things back as they had been.  When I asked, he told me he had cleaned all of those places that looked untouched to me and I took him at his word. The baseboards didn't look any cleaner than they had before he came, but he said he had cleaned those, too.
When I noticed that there was still dust on one of lamps and picture frames, he said he must have missed those and then took care of it.  He told me that he had cleaned inside the closets, but one of my closets still had lots plaster on the floor from a renovation.  He said he must of missed that, too, and then took care of it.  Basically, everything I pointed out, he immediately took care of. But after he left, I took a wet paper towel to a window sill and it was grimy.  Also, I hadn't checked under the bed... it hadn't been touched.  Same with baseboards, walls, doors, etc.  Any place I ran a wet paper towel came up dark with dust or dirt.
So that was that. I had already signed the paper that said I was satisfied (again... my responsibility), so I just let it go.  Also, I really didn't know what I could reasonably expect. I had had a $200+ cleaning before.
However, today I hired a different service (I won't name them because I'm not trying to drum up business for anyone else).  Once I saw how well they cleaned, I felt I should write this review for other users of this site. Even though I signed the paper that said I was satisfied, I should have been able to trust that if the cleaner said he cleaned something, that he really did.
In fairness.. he did do some things pretty well.  He did a good job cleaning the kitchen cabinets inside and out, and he did a good job scraping soap scum off the shower sill (although he used steal wool on the marble.)  Those were two big jobs, and he got them done.
There are a lot of positive reviews for Ideal Cleaning on here. I'm not sure why my experience was so different, but for $225 I feel a bit taken advantage of.

Was very impressed with the job done. Jeiza (our cleaner) was very professional and did a walk through before starting in order to ensure that she knew everything we wanted cleaned and how we wanted it done.  Provided a spot-on estimate, and did a final checklist with me after finishing to make sure that she had gotten everything we wanted.  Also made notes on areas that could not be fully cleaned (i.e. stained carpet that could not be fully cleaned, cracked caulking that would need to be replaced, etc.) so that we were kept fully informed.  Would definitely use again for a future cleaning job.

Everything was perfect, from the prompt response to the email communication with Apolonia, it was a breeze to make an appointment. The cleaning itself was great! Jeiza our cleaner, was extremely professional and provided amazing service.
