The technician called me 15 minutes prior to arrival and arrived exactly at the appointed time. He also described what he was doing and showed me how the products were not airborne or accessible in anyway to my cat. I felt completely reassured that we would not be exposed to anything and we didn't have any issues. We live in an older building that has had ongoing construction so our roach problem was pretty bad. There was a significant reduction within a few days and as described there were some stragglers as the days went on. It has been 2 months and we no longer have a problem.
I would highly recommend Green Earth and would use them again if needed.

In regards to your "D" rating of the initial service price, we understand how one may view $1000 as a high price, but to better explain the breakdown of the price, we provided an initial clean-out service for cockroaches and mice in 10 apartments, plus a commercial store and the basement. We also installed 7 rat bait stations throughout the exterior of your property and the basement. On top of the Angie's List discount for being a first time customer, you also received our commercial wholesale pricing for initial services."
"Good morning. Your inquiry to our office at 12:20pm on 8/25/14, was regarding gnats. Our representative explained to you that the only way to eliminate gnats is by locating the source of the infestation (which is usually a sanitation condition) and then removing the source of infestation. At 1:15pm on 8/25/14, at no-cost we provide you with solid recommendations by email and then responded to your questions by email, so you were able to locate the source of the gnat infestation on your own and so you did not have to waste your hard earned money on ineffective pest control service. You actually thanked us for our information and we never heard back from you. Although your overall "D" rating of your experience regarding the informative communications with our office is misleading and extremely unfair, we are satisfied knowing that we did not mislead you and provide the gnat service, because then we would have failed, you would have given us an overall "F" and who knows what you would have said about our service then. Undeserved negative reviews really hurt businesses and livelihoods, whether you realize it or not. Please consider thinking through all online reviews before you hit the submit button, because like Green Earth, many companies on Angie's List take their business extremely seriously and rely on sources like Angie's List for sales to keep their business running."
I was not present for the first visit this summer, but my husband was. He told me they were punctual, thorough, answered all questions, were neat, and courteous. Today, they came back for a followup that was included in the package we agreed on over the summer. Ronnie called me about a half an hour before he showed up at the house. My window was 9a-2p and he came at 9a. He new all the places our roach families like to live and hide in and applied the bait carefully and neatly. He answered all my questions and also advised me to get rid of any paper bags that I didn't need since the roaches dine on the glue that holds the bag together. Ronnie informed me as to how the process works with the bait and the insect growth regulators. He was patient, neat and also asked me if there were any other spots of concern.
Two months ago, I was scared to go into my kitchen at night and turn on the light. I'd probably see 20-30 roaches around/in my sink. Lately, I might find three. We decided to go with the follow up because we'd seen a few here and there and some small ones. So, as anticipated we opted for the follow up. Given the reduction between the first treatment and now, I'm hoping they are gone for a while. Our old building is undergoing a lot of construction on lower floors and so the roaches like to find new homes. Ronnie pointed out some places where there were breeches between some incoming pipes or small spaces between the floor and the wall where I could put some steel wool and caulking to reduce the points of entry and he also pointed out an electrical outlet behind our couch that needed a plate (and that it too could help).
I was very happy also with the service I received when I called on the phone and had questions in the past. The amount of patience they had was amazing. I also needed to reschedule this week and they seemed happy to be able to accommodate my request. I am so very happy that we found and chose this company.
