"We are very sorry to be responding to this review over 3 months later, but for some reason we only saw this review just now. You are right, if the technician (Avi) reacted to seeing cockroaches in that manner then that is unprofessional, only it's sort of shocking to hear that Avi would have reacted like that, because he does have a few years of experience and we know that he has seen terrible infestations, but we guess that everyone has a bad day and we're sorry that it had to be in your home. In regards to the service not working the way you expected it to work, according to your feedback the cockroach infestation in your home appeared to be more than minor. When you originally called our office we ask you about the level of infestation and then make recommendations accordingly. Our records show that we provided a detailed cockroach service in your home, but perhaps an aggressive cockroach service was more in order, because of the level of infestation. Although plenty of minor cockroach issues are resolved in one visit, there are times were 2-3 visits are needed to reach that level of control and sometimes even more. In pest control we never know exactly what we are up against, as we are battling mother nature and creatures who are fighting for their lives, but we do our best to get the problem under control in as few visits as possible. If you are still having a cockroach problem in your home then please call our office, we would love the opportunity to help you and prove to you that we do know what we are doing. For what it is worth, although you were dissatisfied with your experience with our service, we do truly appreciate you taking the time to rate your experience with our service and for your honest review, because your criticism helps us improve where we are lacking."

Exterior termite bait station inspection appointments are not as simple as they may seem. The appointments are all dependent on the weather and whether or not there is termite activity, so it is like a juggling act, which is why it is not always possible to have the same technician on every visit, as it is more important to have on-time service. Normally we do not call our termite bait station inspection clients, because the bait stations are on the exterior of the home, however at the request of the client we will call every single time. If you requested phone calls then we apologize for having that request slip through the cracks. Likewise we apologize for any inconvenience that we may have caused. From the moment I called, they took the time to ask questions about the scope of the problem I was having - and, given that some of my issues stem from living in a connected rowhouse in Bklyn - I appreciated that they were honest about what they thought they could and couldn't address. It isn't an overstatement to say that it felt like they were thinking with me about how to solve the problem vs. simply scheduling a service call. The technician (I think his name was Peter) who came to my house was fantastic - prompt, thorough, took the time to explain what he was doing, asked questions that helped him target his work/focus. From beginning to end, they provided some of the best, most thoughtful customer service that I've witnessed. And most importantly, so far (10 days later) the service call seems to have worked. The sound of scurrying is - amazingly, happily - GONE.
