Blinds or Shades - Repair
Empire Custom Windows did a great job of repairing the balloon shades in my bedroom in my Upper East Side apartment. Their work was excellent and timely and the staff is very well-informed and polite. I would definitely recommend Empire Custom Windows for any of their many services.

I called Empire because my old motorized shades were not working properly. Eli was very responsive and came that day to look at them. After discussing my options, I chose to get new motors installed. Eli was able to come back the next day and install the new motors. They are MUCH quieter, rechargeable as opposed to battery operated and easier to program. Eli was responsive, pleasant and got the job done quickly. I would certainly recommend Empire.

After contacting Angi the company followed up with me and came back and repaired the blinds. I am happy and everything is working. He explained he was on holiday. I suggested moving forward, if he is going to be away rom work, it would be a good idea to leave a message on his business phone and a message on his email alerting clients when he will not be following up with them if he is away. I will update this review if there are any other problems.

I highly recommend Empire Window Treatment Center. Their customer service was great, and Al did an excellent job restringing two Venetian blinds for me. The work was completed ahead of schedule. Would definitely use them again.

I ordered wooden blinds for the living room and a roller shade for the bedroom. Eli, who came over to take the order (and later, with a helper, did the installation), was spot on in his recommendations for colors that harmonized with the decor. Everything was well-made, and the service was first-rate. A very professional operation.

Our blinds were very very old and one of them had completely deteriorated. We contacted Eli, he came to the apartment, and we assessed the situation. Decided to replace all four blinds, for which he gave us a very good price. He said they would be ready in three weeks. Three weeks to the day, he called. The new blinds were installed yesterday (4/6/21).They look terrific. Eli and his worker were on time, efficient, neat and pleasant.

I desperately needed some new blinds but kept putting them off. I did some research and decided to go with Empire. I am so glad I did. The new blinds (installed today, March 18, 2021) look even better in real life than I could have possibly imagined. These elegant, stylish wood blinds add so much to my **office**, or whatever it is. The difference is amazing. I keep walking out and back into the room just to take another new look! Eli is a top-notch pro, a very amiable man, and I recommend this company with all my heart.

Had I known when I bought "silhouette" blinds, how much they would cost to clean, I probably wouldn't have bought them. But that's not Empire's fault. It's an expensive process. I get it. They threw in new pull cords for free so that was a nifty bonus! I would definitely use them again.

Eli was reliable and did excellent work. I asked him about providing something extra along with the solar shades he installed, and he dissuaded me, thus losing the opportunity to make more money. That's what I call integrity.
