Chuck is a rock star! He not only resolved my problem with a mattress but he also changed my overall attitude toward Sleepy's. Two weeks ago I purchased a ComforPedic mattress from clearance. I paid around $1000. I was informed that the product was originally set up as a floor sample but it was never used and that it's clean and in perfect shape. When the mattress arrived, though, it wasn’t even close to what I was promised. Its package was wide open and it has a big yellow stain, which looked like pet urine. I refused to accept the product and immediately called the sales rep to replace it. I even texted him the pictures of the stain. He never called me back. After calling 5-6 times, I finally reached him. He told me that there was no same mattress to replace with but if I pay $200 more, I can get a better one. My other option was store credit! After reviewing my options, I unwillingly decided to get the better mattress by paying $200 more. But again I couldn't reach the sales rep for another 5-6 times. I left messages. When I reached him on Friday, he said it was his off day and that I should call the customer service! What a professionalism!! Instead of calling the customer service, I went to the store where I purchased the mattress. I knew that the sales rep that I've been dealing with was a replacement for that day. So I wanted to talk to someone face to face. I am glad I did that because I was so lucky to meet Chuck. Chuck was patient. He listened to me carefully and understood the issue in every detail. He immediately called the customer service and requested a replacement. He then made couple of other phone calls and resolved the issue in about an hour. I was able to get the replacement and scheduled a delivery for the next day. The most interesting part was that I paid only $6 difference to get the “better” one!!! Not $200 as I was told by previous unprofessional sales rep. Chuck was so nice in explaining to me how and why these things might happen and he was extremely careful while choosing the words about his colleague as he didn't want to destroy his career. He is such a professional. Sleepy's is very lucky for having a sales rep like him in its sales team and I hope they let him train others. I was so unhappy with my Sleepy's experience until I met Chuck. As you may know, in a cyber-world like this, bad experiences do not stay unnoticed and unshared, which in turn might damage Sleepy's good reputation. Thanks to Chuck, I still believe Sleepy's is a good and trustworthy company.
Description of Work: Replaced a mattress, which was delivered in a pretty bad condition. I refused to accept it and I was told that they could not replace it with the same mattress as it was out of stock. Chuck helped me to resolve this issue, while the sales man that I actually purchased the mattress from (Louis) didn't even bother dealing with this problem.
