The real plaster moldings added a wonderful touch to the other rooms, and made the ceilings look higher.
The job was done rather quickly, and there was absolutely no mess or dirt left behind. Communication was flawless.
As a bonus, i got very valuable advice on decoration and lighting.
Very pleased and would totally recommend this service for all your interior remodeling needs!
So, I invited and quot;At Your Surfaceand quot;, and the artist who is the owner of the company, suggested repainting the apartment and adding some color and texture to the walls to create a warm feeling. She brought in the painter just to do the basic paint job, and the rest was done by her alone.
The wall in the bedroom was finished in beautiful texture, using a special technique and materials to create a dramatic color accent and contrast for the grey leather headboard. Since we were limited in the degree of remodeling (meaning, for example, we could not change the closet doors), the artist suggested adding a glaze layer to the paint on the doors, and that changed their look completely.
There was not much we could do in the kitchen (same limitations), but the backsplash was allowed to be added after the artist negotiated with the management. What a difference it made!
The artist also helped me to get rid of some things that and quot;didn't belongand quot; there and add new ones, like lamps, mirrors and rugs to complete the new look of the apartment. She did a great job finding the perfect accents in different stores, always giving me variety to choose from.
The result was amazing! Overall, the place looked much and quot;youngerand quot;, felt more like an owned home, not a rental, and got a distinct personality - all within a budget of $5000 (excluding the cost of home accents that were purchased).
The work was rendered while I lived there, during the hours while I was at work. Every day the work area was left neat and clean, I never had that uncomfortable feeling that I live on the construction site. The artist was very flexible and cooperative, and pleasantly surprised me with her attention to every detail and immaculate quality of her work. Bravo!
