Established in 2001, Minuta Architecture,PLLC is an award winning firm that has been published in numerous magazines, journals and other print, radio and television media and most recently involved in the Extreme Makeover Home Edition in Orange County NY that aired in October 2011. The firm has been ranked in the top 4 architectural firms for the past 4 years in the New York State Hudson Valley region by HV Biz, Fairfield County Business Journal and the Westchester County Business Journal and in 2011 2nd in the region. Mr. Minuta has been a guest speaker at numerous venues concerning architecture and most recently at Hudson Valley Green Real Estate Developers Conferences sponsored by Schein Media. Our vast array of projects enables us to adapt our trained design philosophies to your project. We take pride in providing services which are reminiscent of a more sensitive time when a Client's needs came first and the Architect was the client's guide and confidant. Clients are infused with true architectural experience in which they express themselves through their project. Project consultation enables you to plan your project at your own pace with a professional Registered Architect so that you may make informed decisions prior to starting a project. One point of contact means that your project won't get lost in our firm as it might in larger firms. Personal attention goes into every detail of your project and our incredible staff is always pleasant and willing to assist you in changes. We offer a variety of fee terms such as: Time based methods plus reimbursable expenses, Lump/Stipulated Sum, Percentage of Cost of Work, Square footage Cost, Unit Cost, Royalties. A scheduled initial consultation on site or in our office includes listening to your needs, evaluating your project, circumstances and establishing a scope of work for your project a plan and an estimate of construction cost. We then provide a proposal for the services for your project and a projected timeline from the start of design through the end of construction. We charge a nominal fee for this service as the consultation is that of a professional Registered Architect with more than 20 years in the profession. The information obtained from the initial consultation is an extremely valuable service that solidifies your goals. The initial consultation fee is rebated should you decide to formally hire us for your project. We do not charge for project travel within a 30 mile radius from our office for most projects. Otherwise it is at the Federal prevailing rate per mile. Allow us to show you the benefits of our full range of professional architectural services. Joseph J. Minuta, RA, AIA, NCARB, CACB has experience in the building profession since 1989. He has worked professionally as a Registered Architect, construction observer, engineering technician, draftsman, carpenter and mason.
