My thermostat was not working after I had turned it off for a week while away. A technician took off the thermostat and placed jumpers to start the furnace as a temporary measure. Within a couple of days, the circuit board burned out and I was quoted a price of $920 (including tax) to replace it. I protested the price, but had it installed because I was desperate. Later, after much research and speaking to other technicians , I found out that I was grossly overcharged for installation of an item that costs well under $200. When I contacted them they were quite rude. The Department of Consumer Affairs attempted to contact them on my behalf, but they refused to respond to them as well.

We signed a contract with 50% down in June 2008 to replace the oil furnace with a gas furnace. ConEd had listed them as a recommended vendor. No response to repeated phone calls to schedule the work. Finally, in mid-September we contacted the consumer fraud department at NY Attorney General's office, who referred us to Westchester County Consumer Affairs who issues the licenses. After the Westchester County clerk called the company, the president of the company called us immediately to arrange for installation. The work itself was adequate but I would never use or recommend them again.

I call at 4:30, they say they will be here. I get a call at 5:15 saying they aren't coming, said I was down for Tuesday the 21st. I would not have scheduled them to come this day. This is why I scheduled a Saturday, as Tuesday is a work day. I would not have scheduled it for the 21st, that is a family member's birthday. They never gave the courtesy to call. I told them I wanted an appointment Tuesday morning. I asked when I spoke to the operator Saturday evening to have the president call me at my office on Monday. He never called. I also asked that they come out Tuesday morning at 8am so that I could get to work on time Tuesday morning. No one showed up, and I have not heard from them. In 2001 they had performed an oil to gas conversion for me and a new boiler; I was very pleased with that work. I have been a loyal customer for 7 or 8 years. The quality of service has really went down over the past few years. I wonder if its with the retirement of Frank, as he was the one who had done work for us in the past. Now I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. When they do work it is good, it is just very hard to get them out, scheduling is very unreliable. They are very disrespectful of their customers time.

Very well for installation, not so happy with service and management. They lost some information and wanted to charge me for service during warranty period. They failed to come for the scheduled service appointment several times, and I had to call them to ask for a new time. They claim they have new management, so we will see. Not sure I will renew a contract with them.

I CHANGED COMPANIES BECAUSE I WAS NOT SATISFIED WITH THEM. THEY DID NOT RESPOND TO ME IN TIME AND DO NOT HAVE REASONABLE PRICES. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM.

THEY WERE OK, BUT THE ONLY THING IS THAT THEY SAID THEY WOULD CLEAN UP THE BOILER, TOO, WITH THE SAME COST. THEY HAVEN'T DONE IT YET. THEY SAID THEY HAD TO COME AT A DIFFERENT TIME OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT WHICH THEY DIDN'T TELL ME IN THE BEGINNING.

I FEEL THAT COMFORT CONTROL IS ON POINT AND THEY ARE QUICK TO GET A JOB DONE. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE THAT NEEDS THEIR BOILER REPAIRED.
