They arrived promptly at 8:00 AM worked all day and left at 7:00 PM, with all work completed, and with all electricity back on. They did a great job.

Work was well done and professionally with minimal cuts in wall and ceiling. The area was difficult to work in but
Richard made it work. He cleaned up after himself, was pleasant and even continued to work by flashlight (!) when the power went out in our entire neighborhood for about 45 mintues...very impressed with that!Laura M.

The Electrician did returned all phone calls and texts messages promptly. Came the same day or early the next if I called late in the day. The owner/manager and assistant were both very pleasant, kind, courteous, very knowledgeable, quick, efficient and professional worker. All requests made were followed through neatly. I would highly recommend AVA Electrical and Lighting Services as great - excellent electricians to do any electrical work!

Lucas and Rich were amazing! From the start Lucas was punctual and very thorough when we were doing a walk through in my home. Work started as scheduled and the two worked from 8 am to sometimes after 6pm. I don't even know when they took a lunch break! They worked non-stop to get everything done. Price wise Lucas was the best as well. I consulted 2 other electricians and Lucas' price was much more reasonable than the other two. They were very professional and hard working. I feel confident that the work that was completed is reliable and safe. We highly recommend Ava Electrical and have already referred our family to him. Thank you so much for a job well done!!

They came out the same day that I called them. Rich was able to figure out in five minutes which outlet was bad and re-did it the correct way. Everything has been fine since then and I am scheduling them again to hang a lighting fixture. They even gave me an Angie’s List discount!

Rich arrived on time, analyzed the problem and worked steadily. I was so impressed with this company, I hired them to do outside electrical boxes that had been non-functioning for many years. Again, he showed up on time and got everything working and for a price that I considered reasonable. FYI, they are re-naming the company Ava Electrical and Lighting Service.

John Lucas returned my call promptly and scheduled an appointment the very next day. Arrived at the door 10 min before the appointment. Very professional in diagnosing the fault location in the circuit. He located and replaced the faulty outlet in the next room that caused the problem. Offered me 10% discount when I told him that I found him on the Angies List. I would definitely recommend him for his prompt and professional service.

Arrived on time, worked in 90 + degree heat without complaining and found the problem in the 90+ degree attic, which caused the top floor of the house to have electrical issues.
He checked the service to the panel and the panel itself.
Neat clean and fixed the problem, I would use him again, when the need arises.

Richard Reno was punctual & very respectful, He observed the law of my house which is very important to me
by removing his shoes unlike a lot of people who refuse.
He was very knowledgeable & efficient in what had to be done.
I would definitely use this company again.

They were very good. It went very well. I actually didn't tell them the full extent of the job and I have an overload on one circuit and I forgot that the other one was also there so they didn't wire it up and when I called them about it, they came out the next day for no charge and they finished the job even though I forgot to point that out to them. They were very good. They're professional. They got there early.

Electricians quickly identified issue causing problem with light flickering (caused during central A/C installation), pointed out rusty circuit breakers from water damage caused at another time and replaced. They also helped me out by checking out my attic fan. Overall, very satisfied. Lucas was responsive, good communication and easy to deal with. Workers (Rich and Lucas' father) were on time, helpful, esperienced and thorough. I think the price was fair given the amount of time they spent and Lucas readily accepted Angie's list discount. One minor issue. all the back and forth between yard and basement left a bit of dirt in work area. Would have liked a better cleanup. But 5 minutes the the vacuum resolved that.

Lucas was easy to communicate with, and followed the preferences I had with my contact of reaching me by email (you would be surprised how many people instead call).
They arrived early to accommodate my work schedule, took a look at everything, and did a good job on everything that needed to be done. It took about an hour and a half longer than originally projected, but they ran into a few issues with our system that they were able to work around.
I would use them again.

I felt he was conscientious about trying to make good when we got off to a rough start, which I appreciated. I asked in advance if I needed to let them know what I needed done so they could be prepared, but I was told that they could just check it out when they came. Overall, I was glad he came and I will use them again, but there is room for improvement.

Lucas provided a thorough and thoughtful estimate for the work that was needed, along with helpful suggestions. He had good availability and scheduled at our convenience. Two men showed up on time and when they looked at what I had in mind (an outside outlet that wasn't working) they told me that the necessary work would take hours so we agreed on the minor projects. They finished the work, charged me 17.00 extra for misc hardware, and left.

The representative from Shore Electric, Jimmy that arrived at your home was on time and notified me that you were not home and the light fixture in need of repair is an HID light fixture which is typically used in commercial applications. We do not carry replacement bulbs or ballast kits for this particular fixture on our residential service trucks. Jimmy also explained after a phone conversation between you and him that we would return when you would be home on a mutually agreed upon date. After you told him that you would give us a bad review, he did in fact state that we had many good reviews on Angie's list, but not that your review does not matter. Shore gave me a call to confirm his arrival and indeed arrived in a timely manner.

the representative from Shore Electric was knowledgable on what was legally required and installed a light in our garage. He also installed two safety lights on our home and one on our shed in the yard. He was pleasant and his work was neat. I would highly recommend this company for reliable electric woe.

i called and left a message about the job. He called back within a half hour. i was very pleased eith his resposinevness. unfortunatly he was not liscenced in my town.
