I've called other companies and they were vague in terms of their pricing and the job that they were going to do. American Minuteman was able to explain what happened and finished the job in less than three hours.

The service men came on time, they were courteous, quick and did a great job. I had two other drain clearing companies at my house over the past two days and both quoted exorbitant prices and no guarantees and had charged me for the failed work that they did.  The pipes were cleared after about 1-1.5 hrs and the price I paid was reasonable in relation to the type of work being done. I will definitely recommend this company for any drain cleaning job!

'Minuteman' arrived within designated 2 hour window.  After I explained the problem, they were up front with the procedure to unclog the drain and how much it would cost.  I was able to ask questions and get definitive responses.  Price was a little on the high side, BUT the work was done correctly and cleanly.  Very professional and friendly service.

We had been away on vacation for a week.  While we were away temps were in the single digits.  When we got home we quickly discovered water backing up into our shower pan.  Called American Minutemen just as the water level reached the flood point.  
The repairman came the first day (about 5pm) within 20 minutes of calling and immediately tried to clear the drain pipe.  After about an hour of trying via the shower, toilet, and sink he told me he suspected the blockage was ice not a debris clog and that he'd return the next morning with more equipment to get the job done.  He came promptly at 9am the next day and worked tirelessly to get the pipe cleared.  The job took most of the following day as the ice block ran from the basement to the second floor of the house but he kept me updated on his progress throughout.  He was friendly and courteous and cleaned up when the job was finished.  The price was more than fair for the amount of time the repair took (about 5 hours the second day not including a trip to the parts store).  I would definitely use them again for any plumbing problem.

I can only say wonderful things about this company. I called today for help with drainage problems in 2 areas of my home. They were set to arrive between 10-12 the same day. After a complication with an earlier job, they didn't arrive until 12:30, but the company did call me with a status update mid morning. I was home all day, so that wasn't a problem for me.

When they got here, the were professional & pleasant. They were great about chatting with my inquisitive 3-year-old & got straight to work. They were done within an hour & were great about cleaning up. Everything looked just as they left it. They also made a recommendation for a small plumbing change to help avoid the recurring problem. I will definitely follow up with them to finish the job.

I have worked with Mr. Rooter in the past & it was a nightmare. I was prepared for the worst as far as professionalism & customer service goes. I thought it was just what you got for a messy job like drain cleaning. I was WRONG. These guys were wonderful! My toddler was sad to see them leave. I will never work with another company.

On 12/30/13 I was called that a service man would be in my area.  We arranged on the phone for me to be home at 4 to meet.  When I got home at 3:55 the service man was already there.  I explained the problem, he explained their costs and I showed him the clogged basement sink which had the clogged drain (I had tried the liquid products and snaking it myself to no avail).  Within 20 minutes from when he began the job was done.  I was very pleased and he accepted the 20% discount coupon which I got from Angie's List.  Very,very happy with the outcome, the service and the timeliness of response.

Smoothly. Messy job but he made every effort to tidy up after the job. Difficulty removing shower drain cover, he persisted and presto it came off. Very pleased.

Very prompt.  Very professional.    Took care of the problem immediately with no fuss.  I would highly recommend this company.

The sink which drains all my washing machine liquid started to stop up.  I called and spoke to Katharine who was able to give me an appt for a Sunday, which was very convenient.   Debbie called me and alerted me that the technician, Santos, was on his way.  He arrived on time and he tested the other sinks to verify the clog was not connected to those sinks.  He promptly snaked the drain and removed the blockage.  Customer service was polite and repsponsive.  Santos was efficient, knowledgeable, and quick.  I appreciate the easy process and American Minutemen saved me a trip to the laundromat!

The second crew arrived Monday Morning and opened my kitchen ceiling to check the trap where they suspected a leak. Upon viewing and inspecting it, the trap was fine and they ascertained that the water leak on Saturday was because of some old caulking around the tub that was leaking. They replaced the sheet rock on the ceiling and spackled over it very well. They then removed the old caulking and replaced it with new caulking. They cleaned up impeccably and only billed me for the drain service, since they wanted to make sure that they had not damaged the lines during the drain cleaning.
The two men who came were polite, efficient, and very concerned about cleanup after the sheet rock repair. That part of the kitchen was probably cleaner than it was before they started the job. They had the whole thing done in less than 90 minutes from the time they started. They were great.

It did not seemed to be clogged, but, most likely collapsed. The service mechanic was very professional and worked on 3 approaches to the issue.
