Home Security System Service
Cold sales call selling an ADT alarm system, salesperson told me I'd save 20% on homeowners insurance. Had it installed since annual cost of system would balance annual homeowners insurance savings. Technician insisted I'd save 20% on my homeowners insurance soon as I submitted the certificate of security system installation.... But my insurance dropped only 3%. Called to complain to Safe Streets USA, spoke with 4 reps plus an ADT rep.
EACH of the 4 Safe Streets reps I spoke with stated the salesperson AND the technician had given me "misinformation and misrepresented the total savings" of the package they sold me. Safe Streets won't lower the monthly charge for the alarm and won't let me cancel the 3-year contract without substantial penalties. Filed a complaint with Better Business Bureau, where several complaints already lodged against Safe Streets for their marketing and sales tactics already. Do NOT use these people--customer service is awful, salespeople fraudulently market their services.
