Robert came out promptly and gave us an estimate and Ben and his crew performed the work. we were completely happy with the entire process. Robert and the head office turned around the estimate in 24 hours and the office promptly scheduled the work shortly thereafter. The office is good with communicating by email and phone regarding appointments and Robert came out several times to scope out the work according to our needs and specifications. Ben and his crew arrived promptly in the morning and performed the work as planned and even over and above the plan as needed when surprises and setbacks occurred. great attitudes above and beyond the call of duty. I would definetly recommend Dr. pavers and call them for future jobs.

From start to finish Doctor Pavers was very responsive, transparent and easy to deal with. Robert & Silvio were a pleasure to work with and were always eager to please. They take customer service seriously. Job was finished on time and on budget and we were very pleased with the finished product.

Robert and team were great to work with. Great communication, competitive pricing. A portion of our stone wall had collapsed after the winter and the team fixed in a couple of hours. They cleaned up thoroughly and were very professional.  I would definitely use them again for our masonry work. 

Robert came soon after we called for an estimate, and although his estimate came in within the same price range as the other 2 contractors we were considering, the timeline was better for us and we were also impressed that he included photos of the path with notes assuring he understood our concerns.  The office remained in contact in the event our work could be moved up, and as it happened our start date moved up a couple of weeks.  Upon arrival, Robert introduced me to his team, and let me know who I should report to with concerns. The men went to work breaking up the old path and saving the 80 year old pavers to the side.  Where there was damage, they used some replacement stones.  The entire walkway was built up with fresh concrete to a perfect smooth path and the next day, the stones were set back in place. We were able to use the path the very next day and we are so happy with the results.  Two of our neighbors with the same style walkway asked for contact information, as they were excited to know their walkway could be restored.  Dr. Pavers was the only contractor that never questioned our wanting the original walkway repaired as opposed to rebuilding with new material.  There was great communication throughout the entire transaction from estimate to final payment.  The 2 primary workers; Santos and Alex were so tireless in their work that it was finished a half day sooner than expected.  Our front yard was left as clean as when the work started.  We couldn't be happier or more confident in recommending Robert and his team. We have already asked for another estimate  on some other masonry work we need.

The work went well.  They repaired our front walkway using the existing slate. All the stone was kept in excellent order.  They extended our backyard patio and even touched up the existing portion.   Upon the final walk through, we mentioned a small retaining wall that was not re-installed and they came back within a few days to fix the issue.  The job took about a week (not including rainy weather).  They were always courteous and punctual.  

Excellent job.  Workers were extremely professional and the patio looks great.  A well run company from the moment I first called to get an estimate up until the job was complete.  

Robert was a very nice guy to work with. He promised the lowest price on the quote and he delivered. One thing that could be improved is to have a more detailed/step by step project plan, that would help us learn about the process and decide what we need and don't. The project was done to our satisfaction. And Robert's team offered to provide free fixes in case any paver breaks in the future, that's assuring to hear. We look forward to enjoying this patio and will consider Dr. Pavers on our other house projects. 

The crew did a terrific job, as expected. I was already a happy customer from their work on my back patio and went straight back to them when I needed these jobs done upfront. Robert, Silvio and their crew (including the receptionist) did another fantastic job for me.  I had four separate masonry projects this time, each were difficult to accomplish.  I needed rare field stones which Robert found in a Connecticut stone farm 2 hours away, they squeezed me into a very tight schedule deadline I had, and were diligent in resolving all issues to my satisfaction.
All of the work came out beautifully.  The stone stair case is stunning and even impressed my landscape designer.  It has turned into the centerpiece of my backyard.  The major repair work they did looks better than before.
When you hire a contractor to provide service work, it's important to find the right partner that will ultimately service your needs regardless of the difficulty and challenge.  Robert and his team are just that.  Professional, courteous, with the utmost customer service standards.  They've exceeded my expectations and I will work with them again.

Mr Pavers exceeded all my wife and I expectations. He stood by his estimated even when the old driveway was taken up and we found a huge bolder where the cobble stone was going to go. It took time to bring it down to level to get the stone we wanted in. I would recommend Mr Pavers to any who was looking to get any stone work done. These guys know what they are doing. Very professional and respectful to our property.

Doctor Pavers built a staircase with blue stone and natural stones wrapping the steps in front of my house about 50 ft long

We got the estimate from Roberto on July 27 (much lower than the quote we received from another company), and the work was performed soon after on August 15.  The workers were on time and friendly.  The only hiccup was that I had initially been told that we only needed to pay half on the day of the job, and would be sent an invoice later for the remaining half.  I later learned that this was not the case, and I found it odd that different employees were saying different things about the payment rules.  It was just a minor annoyance, though; I would still use them again.

Doctor Paver was amazing from the beginning to the end, always very polite and courteous. Since I first met Roberto for the estimate I felt I was in good hands, he has a lot of knowledge and experience in what he does. It was a bit cold when we did the work but his guys worked hard to get the job done when I needed to be done, I am very grateful, couldn't be happier with the results, everything looks amazing.

Dr .Pavers was on time or early to all appointments, sent me picture renderings showing me what the work would look like upon completion, answered all of my questions in full and in a timely manner, and did an fantastic job ion my sidewalk and back steps!  I would highly recommend this company for any type of concrete / masonry work and would gladly use them again on another job!

The work appears to me to be solidly built and is attractive.
Be warned: Before even starting the job they sent me an e-mail stating that they would give me $50 off if I gave them all ?A? ratings on Angies list.  That leads me to question the validity of the many ?A? ratings that they have, which were the basis on which I chose them.  I contacted Angies List about this, but I don?t know if anything was done.
In fact, I was disappointed that the project did not come out exactly as I had requested it from the beginning.  I suggest that if you need an architect?s drawings for permit purposes, these are not the people to hire to work with the architect.
Problem 1: Scheduling the job.
Robert had come out to give me an estimate.  I later realized that the work required a permit from the city and architect?s drawing.  I used a local architect recommended by my lawyer.  Robert reviewed the architect?s plans, which matched what I had originally told him, and agreed to do the job for the original estimate.  I sent Robert an e-mail on July 5 saying that I had accepted his proposal.  I expected that work would start some time in August.  By mid-August I had not heard back, so I called and was told that we were scheduled for October.  I objected to waiting so long and they managed to start the project Sept. 10.
I note that Robert, who gave the estimate and came on the first day, did not supervise the job personally.  That may be one reason I had problems.
Problem 2:
The foreman seemed to have difficulty making out the abbreviations on the architect?s drawings.  This led to an embarrassing phone call in which I had to ask the architect to explain the abbreviations and he expressed surprise that the foreman did not understand them.
All along I had said that I wanted a 3 ft. platform level with the floor of the enclosed porch so that I could step out from the porch on level ground and then go down the steps.  When the concrete truck was on the way I questioned the wood forms that were in place and found out that they were planning to put in a full step down from the porch.  When I objected, after much discussion, they were able to raise the level of the concrete so that it was only a half step down.  Once the concrete was poured apparently it did not match the proper measurement of the brick facing.  They had to break up some of the concrete to make it fit.  Then
they also told me that they had to put in a ramp of about 3 inches in height to the front step, since it was now going to be too high.  This creates a tripping hazard from the concrete driveway which adjoins the steps and this ramp, and is at the original level of the sidewalk.
Although I was disappointed that the work was not exactly as I had requested, it serves the purpose and looks sturdy.  However, the amount of discussion and miscommunication I had with this firm and with the architect was very annoying.  That, along with the scheduling delay, and the attempt to bribe customers into giving them all ?A? ratings, is why I have rated them very F on professionalism. 
 

Robert measured the area and evaluated the work to be performed.  They quickly sent me an estimate in which all the terms and details were spelled out.  They were very responsive with any questions or issues I had. I was happy that they were able to perform the work before winter sets in.  Wilson and his team performed the work within 5 hours.   They even filled in some of the missing cement on a lower staircase.  I asked Robert if they could adjust a few spots and he came back and did the work in less than half an hour within the week.  They did an excellent job, were very professional, and a pleasure to work with.  I would definitely recommend them and use them in the future.  

Great job. Robert came by several times ar our request to explain the options and process. I was happy they could finish the work before it got too cold.

Doctor Pavers did an excellent job.  Most of the work was done within 4 days.  After they were done, I asked if they would adjust some of the blocks so they would be flush with the sidewalk.  They had no problem pulling these blocks up and replanting them deeper to accomplish this.  They also offered to do some additional pointing around the house (it is a stone house), where holes had been drilled over the years.

I would highly recommend Doctor Pavers for future jobs.  As an aside, they also do all types of interior tile work as well (although I have not used them for this).

It was a pleasure to work with Doctor Pavers throughout the process.  They responded promptly to my query, providing a quote quickly.  After a delay in which I was waiting for a quote from another vendor, they again responded immediately to match the other vendor's lower cost.  They were excellent about replying back immediately to all questions.  They came on the date of service with several workmen who worked exceptionally hard to complete the job.  They also ensured that some holes at the top and bottom of the driveway were filled in per my request.  The only misstep was that the team borrowed my grill propane tanks because theirs must have been emptied; Robert discounted the cost of the tank refills.  And Robert came back to survey the work with me to ensure I was happy.  I would highly recommend Doctor Pavers.  Very hard working and professional.
