Since 2006, the team at Premier HD Construction has proudly served the remodeling and contracting needs of apartment and homeowners in the metropolitan area of New York City, Westchester County, New York and Fairfield County, Connecticut & Yonkers. Our expert craftsmen specialize in additions and renovations, the execution of complete and partial apartment/home renovations and remodeling projects in addition to: millwork, siding and window installation. Be aware of this scam artist and thief. Rick DePalma stole my deposit, and did not deliver anything on the contract to remodel my kitchen. He indicated that he will return my deposit for two scheduled dates that he and his workers fail to show up to. Rick DePalma indicated that my deposit will be reimbursed to me. It has been two months, and he fail to return my deposit of close to 7k. Afterwards, I did research and notice that he currently has an expired contractor license, and is in litigation with another client for same issue.

[Member Name Removed] - You are stating $7,000 due to you which is false. You deposited my business $6,200 an April 20th and had $3,708.93 removed from my business account for services that were performed and executed on your property. You also owe $1,500 for work performed on July 28th which is still not paid for and due with monthly charges of 1.8% each month. Which then leaves a balance of $991.07 + 1.8% fee. I worked at your home and provided a service which was completed and you paid for. The service that was agreed on and completed was in your kitchen and mudroom. (Fixed issues with your framing which was completed incorrectly the first time by your handy man who is not licensed. You asked me to fix this so you can complete your spray foam insulation.) The total invoice amount $3,708.93 which you paid using your credit card because you didn't have the funds to write a check. You than sent me a text message stating you would like to start the kitchen work on August 15th specifically starting with the sheetrock and requested to stagger the stages of work based on the checks your received from your job. I agreed with this approach and then on August 3rd you sent me a text message stating that you wanted to pause the work until you fix the shower leak upstairs. August 15th you texted me and said you wanted a reimbursement on work due to workers not showing up to work meanwhile you paused the job. We signed contracts on April 20th and the kitchen was still not ready for me to perform the service. A few days after I told you I would reimburse you. I received notification from my bank (1 day later) that a reversal in the amount of $3,708.93 was taken out of the account because you told the bank I didn't perform the service and was fraudulent. Meanwhile I have documentation verifying you agreed to the service, hourly wage and asked me for a link to pay with a credit card all in a text. I have communicated with Westchester County Consumer Protection and my legal advisor on what to do next as a small business owner.

We started the project in April and it was mostly completed in July. It did take a little longer than expected. They kept the space very clean while working. I do wish there was more attention spent on details. I notice tiny things that could have been neater. Overall I found them to be very professional and I would use them again.
Description of Work: I did a complete home renovation including building a kitchen, bath and walk in closet.
