Shifting Sands Transitions is a senior move management company serving the South and North Shore, Boston, Cape Cod, Metro West and Bristol County. Our team launched Shifting Sands aftering caring for and assisting our family members to downsize and disperse estates. Our combined education and experience uniquely positions us to provide personal and professional service for our clients and family members. Frequently our costs are covered by independent and assisted living communities and/or the proceeds from the sale of surplus household items. As members of the National Association of Senior Move Managers (NASMM) we have access to other pre-qualified, insured and experienced move managers around the country. We can coordinate a move across town or across the country. As senior move managers we: - Conduct professional comprehensive assessement at no cost - Map out floor plan for new residence - Develop an over-all plan - Pack and hire well established and reputable movers - Organize and sort personal belongings. - Clean out and stage house for sale - Antique appraisal and/or auction - Donate leftover items to homeless shelters, and donation centers - Schedule and facilitate the move - Provide packing and unpacking - Assure peace of mind After much conversation with our client, we design their new home to their satisfaction and special needs. - Acquire curtains, bath items as needed - Unpack all boxes - Skillfully place furniture, hang photos, paintings - Connect TV and computer components
