Be Aware they operate with no local permit’s to save money and time resorting in an unsafe trade and very dangerous for your home/business!!!! The price and work was fair and all mechanics were wonderful.

In short, was charged over $200 and waited most of the day (serviceman was very late), only to be told unit (they had installed 8 years before for previous homeowner) was busted and not worth fixing. Quoted me $3,000 for new unit and installation. Looked online and found the ducted dehumidifier was less than $1,000 (so they were going to charge over 200% for labor). Bought a $200 free-standing (non-ducted) dehumidifier as a temporary solution. Turns out it was all I needed since my basement is unfinished and one big room. Another technician who came to my house for separate issue (with boiler) observed that WK Mechanical had "oversold" (ripped off) previous homeowner, and was trying to double-down with me. Stay away.

The technician was on time, explained the service and was knowledgeable and professional.

We've been using WK Mechanical for years.  They have installed and serviced out A/C, oil furnace, water treatment system, stand-by generator and anything else we might need that they carry.  They are complete professionals; they do it right; and they do it right the first time.  I know that any merchandise that they offer is either the best in its field and/or the most reliable.  They will not sell anything that might give the customer or them future problems. 
All of their people do the most meticulous and creative installations and repairs. 
Did I mention that they do it right, the first time?  Yeah, they might be a little more expensive than the handyman you can hire who stocks no parts and works out of a truck, but the Peace of Mind we get when we deal with WK Mechanical is worth every cent.

Was excellent . Called to speak with receptionist on Thursday 9/4 appointment set for 9/5 . 830-930 am . Team arrived 825 set up did all work replaced any moved furniture replaced and cleaned all exhaust vents as well as all ducts vacuumed floor . left in 6 hrs time. They were great. I would recommend them highly effective

The team showed on time.
Performed the job in a perfect manner and cleaned up after the work was done.

They were very efficient and they organized the whole project. I thought they were good.

They were on time and professional.

They are charging us $200 to come out and service the air conditioners to keep the warranty. I would not recommend them to anybody because of the service fee. We do not have contact with them, because they do not have to come into the house. The guys that come out are great. The boss is the problem. I am not happy with them. The workers were clean and efficient. They did everything that they said they would. The price is fair. I would not use them again.

Service was excellent. Fixed the problem and corrected so that it would not happen again.

They did a great professional job. They were neat, polite, and cleaned up and checked both units. They explained operation and maintenance and I would definitely recommended them.

The pricing was reasonable. The salesperson was very informative and helpful in what we were looking for.

My Upatirs heat was not working .. WK came out and diagnosed the problem to be my zone valve needed to be replaced ... I was not home @ the time so my wife called me and I spoke to the mechanic. He gave me a price of around $780.00 plus tax .. I've used them in the past for other things so I trusted that they were giving me a fair price . I came by the house for a brief visit to see what was going on. The job was done. The mechanic showed me what was replaced . I felt a little uneasy about the prices so I had my wife give them a check anyway ... When I got home I checked the receipt I found that I was charged the $90.00 for them to come into my home and diagnose the problem (which was ok with me) .. Then I was charged $180.00 for them to drain and refill he system ( not much work required , attach a hose to drain and open valve to refill) , Then i was charged $448.00
for a zone valve . I went on line and checked the prices for the zone valve , same brand and same part number . They were all in the range of $50-$60 .... So I then contacted several companies in and out of the area . I told them what was wrong and what I needed to be done. I was quoted prices of $ 275.00 - $350.00 the most. This was a total price including them coming to my home, draining and refilling the system , the zone valve , and labor ... After I told each company that the job was already done and what I paid for the job, each company made statements like, you've been ripped off (I already felt that way) , You need to dispute the charges, never use them again, Etc ..... I've spoken to the owner and he tried to justify the charges. No argument from me anymore, I just wont use their services and I wont reccomend them to anyone ... It's not a good feeling to be ripped off !!!!

I've used WK mechanical on so many jobs over the last 10 to 12 years, I can't choose one. I won't call anyone else for products and service they can supply. Again, they're not the low-ball pricer, but if you want it done right, with no worries, try them.

It seems like I can’t go 6 months without problems on my Jenn- Air appliances. They have recommend many repair companies to me. They recently recommended Whiteford Keaghy to repair my dishwasher. They are efficient, honest, on time and nice. John, the repairman, is excellent, and the best repairman I have every dealt with. Joann, at the office, is very nice. They are a pleasure to deal with. They explain everything thoroughly to you. They are able to service different brands of appliances.
