Jonathan came right away, did a great job. Very professional.

I was concerned that the work be done right away to prevent rain from going into my boiler. He called back right away as soon as office opened and showed up within 2 hours.

He was my first choice as he had the best Angie's List ratings but I will say the others I called either didn't call back or called much later in the day.

JP installed our Vermont Castings wood burning fire place insert about 14 years ago.  They had a competitive price and were very helpful and professional, getting us what we wanted without a lot of hard salesmanship and no pressure.  They also installed an insulated stainless steel sleeve inside our brick and masonry chimney for the stove.  The installation has been great for 14 years.  
JP has done our chimney cleaning and stove inspection for every year since.  They are always professional and we trust them to tell us the truth about the condition of the stove and chimney.  It has neve needed more maintenance than an occasional stove gasket.  They even inspected our oil burner chimney and recommended we get stainless steel sleeve "in a few years" (no pressure)  We recommend them to anyone looking for installs, chimney repair or cleanings in the Mid-Hudson Valley.

jonathan and his crew were great. they were definitely professional and knew their stuff. we just bought the house, and the old stove wasn't working well, and jonathan told us exactly why....the previous owners hadn't maintained their chimney at all, and had no piping up the flu either. the new stove they installed for us works very efficiently and has provided us with quite a bit of warmth throughout this cold winter in the lower hudson valley. we would highly recommend their services for any chimney related needs you may have. they even did some masonry work for us by laying some blue stone in front of the stove to get everything up to code.

They were very straight forward and they were definitely personable.  They took all of our requests seriously.  We did shop around and they offered the best price.

they arrived on time, kept the living room very clean, and provided detailed info on the condition of my boiler flue. I have since arranged for them to return and do some upgrading of my boiler flue in the basement.

We still can't get over how they improved not only the functioning of wood burning stove and liner, but how beautiful the new set up looks and how much safer we feel. . JP Chimney Service gave us the best pricing for the highest quality work.
