You do need to check the heating fuel level, just in case you may need a delivery prior to schedule. This has happened in very cold winters. I have run out of propane due to extra holiday cooking. Delivery was made ASAP that day.

Installer was quick and professional and they followed all of my instructions. The company as a whole has been extremely accommodating and helpful. I am switching from another propane provider and dealing with Bove has been a refreshing change.
Because I ended up doing a budget contract for this year with them, they took all install fees out of my budget billing plan and did not charge for the tanks. I was only charged labor, parts for the tubing, and for the initial gas delivery.

Delivery is made within a view days of my request.  I usually don't even know they were here, except for the invoice left behind.

The Bove's serviceman called me back very quickly and explained he was on a service call in the north country and would take an hour to get to us which was fine and he showed up when he said. We had the oil trap clog before between servicing and they have come out after hours to help with that so I figured it was probably the same thing but I was wrong. He changed the trap but quickly discovered that the safety switch to shut the furnace down when the flame goes out FAILED so when it lost flame, due to a clogged trap, the pump did NOT turn off so that the combustion chamber was now soaked in oil in the how ever many hours it ran before I shut it down. There was so much pumped in that it leaked out a little on the floor. This was now a tricky and dangerous situation to get it back up and running again since the combustion chamber is basically a giant wick designed to burn the oil off as it is fed in. A completely soaked chamber can burn out of control and to remove it to burn off the excess risks destroying it and that would have taken a couple days to order and replace. I was told what was going to happen, that he was going to spay oil emulsifier "Spray 9" in there, almost an entire bottle to break up some of the oil that he then sopped up with rags. He then was going to have to fire up the furnace to burn off the rest in a controlled fashion but it was going to smoke to the high heavens and let it run as long as possible until it burns clean or shuts itself off for overheating, then we would have to let it cool completely off so when re-ignited no fumes would be present because warm vapors could explode. Then repeat that process as many times as needed until it burns clean again. So he first replaced the failed safety switch with a better programmable unit and started the burn out process. He was not kidding, the smoke that came out into the basement and the flue was unbelievable, thick choking smoke but I was glad he knew what he was doing and warned me completely. I had already set up some strong fans to blow out the basement and then we used those same fans to help cool the furnace in between running it. After 3 cycles of burning the furnace until it shut it self off, then cooling it completely it started running clean again, all the while checking frequently what the burn was looking like in the chamber. Only after it was burning with no smoke coming out of the flue did he then he do the final adjustments to the burner for minimum pollution, maximum efficiency. He saved for us what could have been a greatly damaged 13 year old furnace.
He then wouldn't even take payment since he was there 3 hours and was going to talk to the office to try and get me a discount on the labor hours he spent helping us out on a 20 degree day with no heat. He told me the office would bill me like they do for our deliveries. To tell you the truth, this is one bill I am not even going to look at, just pay. I will update the review, after I get the bill.

Their prices are good, they're courteous and professional on the phone, and they show up when they say they will, work cleanly, and do things correctly.  The delivery guy for the propane is always the same guy, he even knows my dog's name.  When we've needed fuel in a big rush (our fault) they've been very helpful.
