James Porcelli Sr. established Carpet Express in 1976. Our floor covering business, at that time, sold only carpet and linoleum, catering to residential customers. Today it is owned and operated by Nick, Tony & Jimmy Porcelli Jr. Carpet Express has 2 owner occupied locations in Mastic & Rocky Point. An owner does visit each job for measuring and estimating. We carry carpet, linoleum, hardwood flooring, laminates, custom vinyl tile, ceramic, area rugs, braided rugs, remnants, auto & marine carpet, blinds, and cleaners. We carry all major brands such as: Mohawk, Shaw, Stain Master, Armstrong, Mannington, Bruce and Hunter Douglas. We are specialist in quality & service, that’s why we can offer a LIFETIME SERVICE WARRANTY on all floors installed by us. We Love it, When You Love What You’re Walking on. The carpets were okay because they were brand new; but padding got yucky, so they replaced the padding.  They did a wonderful job.  I was satisfied with their work.  They came right away.  They came in and gave me an estimate right away.  They came next day and fixed the carpet.  They had to pick it up, and they had to stretch it out to put it back again; but the carpet was already here.  They helped to put the molding back again.  There were very helpful and very pleasant.  They cleaned up after themselves.

My experience with them was really good. It is a family run business and they provide excellent customer service. The owner actually came and measured himself. They had the carpeting and layed it within a week. The men who came were very good and were very efficient. It ended up being easier than I thought. It was done before I knew it. So far the carpeting looks beautiful. They also provided a great value.

THE PRICE WAS INCLUDED IN THE INSTALLATION OF THE CARPET. THE INSTALLERS WERE ON TIME AND PROFESSIONAL. I REALLY LIKE THE SOFT, THICK CARPET. THE COLOR MATCHED PERFECTLY WITH MY FURNITURE.
