Hired them twice. They are very easy to work with, never had a problem, very professional.

They were fantastic! They did some repairs from a previous renovation. I appreciate the quick turn around from when they met with me to sending me an estimate of costs and completing the work. They also did a quick turn around with rehanging and aligning of our gutters. The workers were courteous, did not cause any additional damage and we are very happy with their work. I have and will recommend them and continue to use them.

They were very professional and kind. I would use them if their price was better.

Maspeth Roofing did an excellent job. They made it really easy - came out, gave us a reasonable estimate, and scheduled an installation date, noting that with the variable spring weather, it might get pushed a few days. When the weather didn't cooperate, they were quick to call and let us know what the revised plans were. Communication was on point. The day of work, they showed up on time, were neat and did a great job. I want to especially call out Dan Klohe...he could not have been nicer or more helpful, even going out of his way on the weekend to drop by the house on short notice.

very good. received estimate with in two days after calling. estimate was very detailed outlining all materials and services to be provided . Signed contract , work started 4 days latter and was completed within a day and a half. All material as outlined was supplied. Crew arrived promptly on day of job.After roof was stripped to decking crew repair all damage wood ,installed felt paper , rigid vent and all other required flashing. New shingles were then installed .They knew exactly what they were doing and did a very good clean up job.

The guy was nice, He did call me back he was responsive. He came and took a look. He gave me a pricing. He's pricing, i think, was a little high, not extremely high but a little high. That's it. I didn't see him, it was all so very brief so I would say "B" on price but everything else was good because he came and looked at it, He talked to me over the phone about the price and what he would do, so it was more like a phone conversation. I didn't actually get to see him. I didn't really deal with him much. It was all over the phone and it was really pricey.

Very quick job less than 4 hours work

I was quite satisfied not only with the personality of the guy but also the quality of his work. He came in and did what he had to do and there were no delays.

We have a 3 level home with 3 decks/terraces.  These decks are over living spaces in the home and we have been having problems with leaks during hard wind driven rain for years.
We had the builder of this 7 year old house come and "repair" the leaks 2 times during our first year.  Still we occassionaly had leaks.  The contractor would kept promising to come and fix the problem, and he just never showed up.  
Then we were hit by Hurricane Sandy and lost our entire first level, which is not below grade, and actually 10" above grade, but we had 4 feet of Ocean come through.  For the next 15 months we were involved with that entire mess.  Insurance, FEMA, Gutting that entire level, repairs, restructure, etc etc etc...(believe me, you DON'T want to hear the details).  And so, with that said......who noticed a leak in all that nightmare?
After all the repairs, and we finally had no more contractors in our home.....you got it....during a hard windy rain the leaks were still there.  Short story...The contractor we used for all the Sandy construction said we had to just rip off the decks and start anew to fix the problem once and for all.  This huge dirty expensive job took another month, and I just cannot bear to go into the details.  And again once the next big windy rain storm came we had the leaks again.
This is where I finally joined Angies list.  I did TONS of research online about these recurring type leaks under decks.  ( Foolish me, I thought contractors KNEW what they were doing).  I saw that MASPETH Roofing and Siding were highly rated and read reviews from people like me who were dealing with leaks and the reviews were very poitive.
Dan from Maspeth came to give us an estimate.  He is very professional and did not promise us the moon and the stars, but told us of how many times they have encounted these problems, and what they would do to fix the problem.  They worked on our one side deck (over a guest bedroom) first in Sept 2013.  And I am here to tell you, that we still had leaks after they finished.  BUT they came back 4 TIMES over a 6 month period (have to wait for it to rain hard) to get the job done correctly.  4 full extra days of work and no extra charge.  They stand by their guarantee.
That is why we used them again for the repairs on the smaller less frequent leaks on the front decks this year.  Luis, the crew foreman on the job, and all the workers are great.  Our house is 3 stories and they never came through the house, only using ladders from the outside.  Every day they worked hard all day with only a 40 minute lunch break, and every evening they cleaned up, even though they would be coming back the next morning.  The workers are the same men from last year, which means they are not picking up day laborers,  these men are professional. 
Even though I liked this company and its employees, I hope I never have to see them again.  But if I do, I know they will honor their guarantee.
I know this is a long review, but when I really needed to find a good company to hire, it was reviews like this that made me feel confident to use Maspeth Roofing and Siding.

They were very responsive and I was happy with their responsiveness. So far we haven't used them. I can't say if they are expensive or inexpensive because I haven't had the chance to shop around but their contractor was very professional.

After much research, I found Maspeth Roofing on Angie's list . They had a high rating and very good reviews. It took a while to get someone to come and give us an estimate, but when Dan came and saw the problem he really seemed to understand right away what needed to be done. We received a written detailed estimate, and even though I was hoping to get the work done for less, we agreed. It will be worth every penny if we never have to deal with this again. Dan's crew showed up on time, and worked non stop until the job was done. This took several . They were very professional. After the job was finished they completely cleaned up. I pray to God I never have to call them again, but I feel confident they will respond if I do call.

Maspeth Roofing is a highly professional and trustworthy company. They provided excellent customer service and the work on the roof was completed promptly, with good craftsmanship. Dan, one of the managers at Maspeth, was very clear about what needed to happen to ensure that we had a good roof in place. Dan provided details about why his recommendation was the smart way to go, along with fair and competitive pricing for the work. The office staff and the roofers were also all very polite and effective. We are very happy with the results and highly recommend Maspeth Roofing. 

It went well.  My first choice was a cheaper roofer from my neighborhood, but that man had just had surgery and was still recovering.  So I went with Maspeth Roofing (my second choice).  I opted for a copper skylight, which increased the cost of the job by $1900.  My goal was to have the best possible materials for the best possible job.  A big crew came on 9/3/2013.  They did most of the work.  A few guys came on 9/5/2013 and painted the roof with the special paint.  Then a few came on 9/7/2013 and put the siding on the bulkhead and finished the painting.  I think they are finished.  One piece in front of the door is not stuck down, but I plan to ask them about it.  They have been so nice and responsive that I believe they will come and stick it down if it needs to be stuck down.  But everything else looks fabulous!  I am very happy with the job.  They fixed some holes in my door that I asked them to fix.

The estimate provided was by far the highest of four.  We used a different provider for less than half the estimate provided by Maspeth Roofing.

They were awesome. It was post storm Sandy when they did the work, I know that because the guy was affected with the storm. He dealt with his own stuff and he came and did it. It was really awesome. It was a really good company. I would recommend them to anyone.
