Kitchen and Bathroom Remodel, Home Building + 5 more
We hired Wood Duck Designs for a home improvement project that included a new roof, windows, exterior doors and siding. This was then expanded as other issues arose and we needed our finished basement demo'd, a shed moved and a site survey performed.
At the "completion" of the project, the basement was cluttered with materials from the demo work. We paid $975 for dumpsters, but plenty of debris remained scattered on the basement floor, including a bath tub, toilet, sink, vanity, interior doors, electrical outlets, light fixtures, etc.
The project, which should have taken several weeks, actually took several months. We kept getting the runaround, being told that the windows were on order. I finally called the supply company and found out that the windows hadn't been ordered until weeks after I was told they were. When confronted with this, the contractor got very angry that we asked about the windows and that the supplier gave us the information. Of course, once we got the true story on the windows, work finally resumed on the project.
We also paid for a site survey ($800) that was never performed and we have repeatedly tried to have the money returned. All messages and emails have been ignored. We are now in the process of taking this company to court.
