His crew (6-8) seems to be self motivated and know what to do and in what sequence. They don't waste any time.
They constantly clean up during the day and always did a end of day cleanup.
They turned a 3600 sq. foot , 180 year old farm house into something you might see in a magazine They spent a great deal of time squaring up everything they could before putting the siding and soffits on. Very time consuming work.They spent almost 3 weeks completing the project.
John provided us a very complete and detailed quote which was inclusive of all work.
Everything in his quote was 100% accurate and thats what they did.
Other contractor quotes we received were open ended and some outrageous. We felt comfortable with John's quote and did look at some of his work to see if the quality was there.

Price was a tad bit higher but he takes credit cards which is worth the extra cost for the fraud protection security. We got burned on another deal and will never pay cash or check for work again.

They arrived on time, they were all very professional and cleaned up everyday before they left for the day.
The only thing perhaps they might do a smidge better on was on the inside job, caulking and patching nail holes. It wasn't horrible
but, it could have been better.
That being said, we would absolutely Highly recommend them and We plan to use them again in the future!

update 10/2/14 - Next door neighbor had John side their house in July '14 based on our referral. We asked John then to return here and nail some trim because 3 windows won't open, and also to provide us with a quote for painting other trim. He had a relative die out of town, he told his son to do the work but it was never done, and he texted several times to ask when we would be available for him to come out. Haven't seen him yet.
