New Furnace and AC unit

We were very pleased with the work of Charles Heating and Air Conditioning, Plumbing and Electricial. Brian P. was able to quickly replace and install our new sump pump. Brian was professional and helpful. He answered all of our questions. Charles Heating and Air Conditioning came the same day, and the price was the same as quoted over the phone. We would recommend this company.

Replaced my furnace and air conditioner .

We found ourselves without a working furnace in February in Upstate Ny. We initially called Charles early on a Sunday morning and had a technician come right out. Unfortunately we were told it was unsafe to run our 16 year old unit and would be without heat for the day. We were provided a quote over the phone which we were really pleased with. By 7:30 the following morning, we were told that a team was already on their way to our house to replace our unit. Jim and Josh arrived on time and were very professional. These two worked ALL DAY without a break to make sure that our family had heat by the end of the day. They worked in 'not ideal' conditions (crawl space, 2 ft of snow, etc), answered all of our questions, and set our minds at ease. I am so glad we called Charles. They had come recommended by family members, and it was def the right call! We didn't realize how inefficient our old unit was until they fired up the new one. We would hands down hire them again and recommend them to friends and family. Thank you Jim and Josh!!

The original tech who responded to the call went up on our roof and checked to see what damage was done when it was ripped off. He was patient and explained our options. We decided that it would not be cost effective to replace it with a new chimney that would have to meet current codes. Our hot water heater (they had installted 16 years ago) was well past it's prime and was starting to have problems. The tech recommended a new water heater with a power vent out the side which would eliminate any roof work. He then called and was able to get us an appointment 2 hours later for a new water heater. One tech responded and got right to work and then 2 more 30 minutes later and then another about 45 minutes after the first. It was amazing to see how fast and effectively they all worked together knowing that we were hoping to get it done before dinner. At the end we found out that as each crew wrapped up a job they came to our job to help meet our timeline. We never asked for that but we were told they all watch out for each other. We've had contractors before but this team of ultimately 5 men were the best ever. They were professional, courteous, clean, accommodating, patient and generally enjoyed working together. I would highly recommend Todd, Brian, Karl, Dan, and Jim. They each had their own specialty but all worked for the same goal.

Visit went very well! Jayson came to do a routine Maintenance check and even though my husband was late getting home to meet him, he was friendly and very professional. He informed us of what needed updated on our furnace and fixed it on the same day.

Our installers were Karl and Jim, they answered questions, they were courteous and demonstrated the most professionalism we've seen when it comes to customer service in a long time. I have used Charles for years. As usual the furnace inspection was thorough. The technician, Rich B., was cordial, very knowledgeable and took all the time necessary to inspect everything and answer questions I had. Setting up the appointment was fast and easy and they called about 15 minutes ahead of the technician's arrival to let me know he was on his way. I have used Charles for air conditioning as was well and their service is excellent. I have used other companies in the past and they just don't equal the cordial and professional service that I receive from Charles. I highly recommend them.

Most recently, I had Karl, Jim and Dan as the service men. They were friendly and efficient and answered all my questions while they installed my furnace and hot water heater.

Both estimator and crew were prompt. Work crew (Justin and Bill) were courteous and neat. They did excellent work and the finished product actually exceeded my expectations. They communicated with me and kept me updated through the major phases. I would hire them again.

It went very well. I had an issue with my furnace and called Charles Heating. I have called Charles for other issues twice in the past. I was always happy with the service and had no question who I would call again this time. I got an appointment the same day I called. Mike M. came and he was great. I was relieved that it was a seemingly simple problem. On top of solving the problem, Mike clearly and thoroughly explained what he was doing and made sure I understood what I needed to know before he left.
