Description of Work: Our technician, Amin, was extremely knowledgeable, professional and very pleasant. The issue we were having did not always occur when the furnace started. I recorded the sound it was making.....Because of course, it never would happen when the technician was here, he readily knew what the problem was just by listening. However, rather than just make the assumption, he cleaned the furnace and looked everything over carefully. FINALLY, after one hour, that noisy sound happened and his assessment was correct. Because it is a furnace that is 21 years old, he did not have the part on his truck. However, he returned the next day with a new part, replaced it and waited for it to run quietly and efficiently before leaving our home. We have only had Charles Heating and AC work on our furnace and AC since they installed it. I highly recommend this business. We have always been satisfied customers. And... thank you, Amin😊

Description of Work: Jayson, the technician from Charles, was friendly, knowledgeable and polite. He recommended that I have the capacitor on the furnace replaced as it was functioning below par, which I did. He reminded me that my furnace and air conditioner are 24 years old, reviewed their current special for replacements, but also said the furnace was otherwise in good condition. I’m pleased with the cleaning and maintenance of my furnace.

Description of Work: I use Charles Heating and Air Conditioning. A year and half ago they cleaned my furnace. I have used them for years.

This plumber discovered that whoever installed the last repair years ago had incorrectly connected part of it, that's why we always had a problem with it. Description of Work: Having bought an older house with a HVAC system over 20 years old, we expected problems with the system. Calling Charles "One Hour" Heating and Air, I spoke with Sandy, made an appointment, and was told the service call fee would be $69. The mechanic, Lou, performed a cursory inspection and recommended replacement. He then handed my husband a bill for $181.44. Apparently, the $69 was to ring our doorbell, and the additional $99 was the "inspection".

Description of Work: The air ducts were cleaned out but to no avail! We had no heat, and cleaning the air ducts did nothing but we had to pay for it regardless.
