We hired Jose Ostorga to remove a tree and trim the other trees and bushes on our property. He came immediately, provided a reasonable quote, scheduled a time to return to do the work, reconfirmed -- and then didn't show up. After an hour, I checked in. He texted he'd had an emergency with his "climber" and sent the attached photo which he said was from the previous evening though it's time stamped last month so hardly credible, certainly no excuse for not cancelling or rescheduling -- esp since he knew I was taking the day off and driving 2.5 hours to meet him. Maybe he did us a favor: Besides being unprofessional and unreliable, it's unclear he knows what he's doing. His repeated assurances that mid November's a "good time" to cut and prune though most of our trees and bushes are evergreen or spring-flowering contradict every book, blog and arborist who warn against pruning before late winter or early spring to avoid serious damage to branches and loss of flowers next season.

Had a 60 ft. Pine tree in my yard which was leaning over my rear neighbor’s property. It was dropping pine cones and shedding pine needles on her property and blocked up the gutters on her garage. I called JA Ostorga for an estimate to remove this tree. The owner, Jose, responded within an hour and stopped by the next day to give me a free estimate. The price ($900.00) I thought was very reasonable and the tree was removed the same day. The crew worked very efficiently, safely and neatly. My yard was cleaned up perfectly. I would highly recommend this company for all landscaping tree/shrub trimming or removal. They are true professionals. I will be contacting them in the spring for more tree trimming and landscaping work needed.

Hired this company to place turf on my front lawn, which initially went great. The workers were very helpful and I had no issues. I agreed with the owner that we would have a weekly maintenance schedule. The workers came once, ( two weeks after the turf was place down) and did not replace my sprinkler which I put on a timer. I was not home at the time and had to drive over two hours to replace what they removed. A week later, they never showed for the weekly visit and did not answer my text looking to address my concerns. I did not see/hear from them again. Spend your time finding a more reliable company!
