TOP FINE JEWELRY INC

Received a Citizen Eco-Drive wristwatch as a gift a couple of years back that was purchased at Top Fine Jewelry.  Recently, one of the tiny hour indicators on the face of the watch came out of its mounting hole and was rolling-around loose in the watch face and was jamming-up the hands on the watch, causing it to stop periodically.  I took the watch to a watch-repair shop, where the problem was mis-diagnosed, and they said they didn't want to work on it.  So, I took the watch back to Top Fine Jewelry to see if they could to anything with it..  Berjohn, the owner, took a look at it and said that he was afraid to take on the repair himself due to the parts being so tiny and fragile, so, instead, he had the watch sent back to Citizen for repair.  When I received the watch back a couple of weeks later, it was "as good as new" and Berjohn and his lovely wife, Lucy, DECLINED TO CHARGE ME ANYTHING FOR THE REPAIR, as the watch had originally been purchased there!!  It was a real pleasure dealing with Berjohn and Lucy and I will certainly try to use Top Fine Jewelry for my jewelry needs in the future.  It's great to have such a nice, local jewelry store to shop at as opposed to having to shop at the big, chain stores at the mall or the jewelry departments in the department stores.  I hope other local Latham folks will consider doing their jewelry shopping at Top Fine Jewelry, too.
