I had a great experience working with Concord on getting my older spa working again. Courteous and professional help and I would recommend this organization for all of your pool/spa needs.

They responded within hours, were there the next day, on time, and done within an hour. They also provided me with advice on long-term repairs and maintenance.

I consistently go to the concord store in latham to have my water tested. They always do a great job of explaining to me what I need, and often times what I don’t need. This year, I had algae that I could not control. It took me 3 times at concord before I was able to kill it all off, and the staff was always willing to help me through this. They swayed me away from pricey chemicals that I was told by other chemicals would kill algae, but turns out it just prevents it. They also made sure I didn’t waste my money on adjustment chemicals when I was battling this problem, since I was always backwashing and adding new water. I will always trust concord with my water chemistry needs!

I reached out through Angie's list and then again privately through email. I received an email back saying they received my email and would get back to me, and I never heard from them again.

I went to Concord pools for an in ground pump problem. The company that actually installed my pool was no help at all and I have had issue after issue with. And another company I called wanted $1700 to replace something that didn't need to be replaced. Then came Concord, they treated me like they installed my pool and I had been a customer there for 20 years. They came to my aid immediately and literally saved my pool season. No other pool company I will ever need or use other than concord from now on.

I'd give them good feedback. The quality of the pool stood out to me. The quality of the pool would be my recommendation.

Brian at the Saratoga store is always very friendly and professional. It is always a pleasure dealing with him because he is so knowledgeable about all the products. The staff at the store is outstanding. I have been going there for 10 years.

Everything was all very good with them.

Concord's service is excellent and I recommend them highly. I never had a pool before and was surprised at how easy it was to take care of by following Concords recommendations...and this pool is 26 years old...so I'm very pleased.

It went great. The installer came as scheduled and did a very conscientious job. It was expensive but made the pool look like new.

I planned to do a pool reno and had concord come to my house in oct of 2014 to look, estimate costs, etc so that we would know the scope of the project and be able to begin work as soon as the freeze was over the following Spring. In may of 2015, concord came back out ready to begin the work and discovered that the pool was in much worse shape than they had communicated to me the previous Fall. In fact, it is apparently in such bad shape that they recommended we do a complete new pool rather than work on fixing what we have. , What I don't understand is if it is in such bad shape, how did they not spot this when they came to provide a quote of work the last Fall? Obviously no care was given to providing accurate, actionable info. The service manager did try to help,but I get the sense he has too much work to do because he was sometimes slow to respond. It was difficult to get anyone on the phone, or to get them to help me move the process forward. In the end, this was a really negative experience. Because of their careless, I looked forward to a project for over 6 months, only to discover that it can't be done without more than tripling the cost.

We decided it was way too expensive. We were happy. They were good about coming in. They came on time. The estimate was way out of the ballpark. Our pool is surrounded by concrete and we were talking about redoing the concrete and all that. I guess they were on Angie's List. We also have friends that had Concord do something for them. They were high. They might have been fine to work with and all that and it probably would have been a good result but they were very high. It was too costly for us. Working with the guy was just fine. He was very personable and helped. They came out when they said they were gonna come. They were right on time. I couldn't afford them. Because of the cost, I probably wouldn't use them.

The quality of the service is good.

They are definitely one of the best in the area. I like their reputation and they are always on time. We never have a problem with that. They are going to be there when they said they are going to be there. They will call us the night before they will show up. They were very prompt and consistent. They are also very good. They are neat and they get everything done. They are just really very professional. We have been their customer for 14 years now. My parents used them too and I probably know them for 20-25 years.

I emailed the owner Mike Giovanone and asked for him to send me a representative to look at my pool to give me some options. He came to my home instead within the week. After our initial meeting we then met at his office and went over all the options available for my renovation. He made suggestions I didn't even know existed, such as the deck jets. I picked out the new liner, we set the date for construction to begin, he gave me a list of sub-contractors he works with to call for the electrical, gas, concrete, etc... The day we took the cover off, I was horrified at the condition of my pool, it looked awful, I knew it needed work, but I had no idea it was that bad!!! Within a week, my pool had been transformed into a beautiful sanctuary I couldn't wait to dive into!! It is breathtaking and I haven't even done the concrete work or the landscaping yet! I knew that Concord would do a good job, they were the original builders of our pool and continue their stellar work and customer service 32 years later. I wouldn't dream of dealing with any other pool contractor.

The experience we had with Concord was, and still is, nothing short of extraordinary. From start to finish, every member of the Concord Team went above and beyond with every aspect of the project, and they continue to do so to ensure we are satisfied. We felt as though it was a true partnership throughout the process, which has developed into a relationship with Concord, which continues now that the pool was completed. Concord truly values the relationships that they have with their clients, and that shows in the quality of their work and professionalism.

After speaking with several local pool builders, we chose Concord Pools because of the overall package and quality of their pool and extended warranty. Prior to selecting them, we went around our own neighborhood and spoke to neighbors to get feedback of their installations, the problems the costs and the final results. There were obviously many choices of local builders, but hands down, Concord Pools had the best results and best looking pool installations we saw. We saw a variety of styles and installations during our search, and had lots of questions for our Sales Rep, Bryan D'Ambro, who took the time to review each and every concern, including coming to our home throughout the installation process to assure the project was going as planned. Because of the grade of our yard, the installation was certain to be a challenge, but the experienced installers of Concord Pools had no problem installing an amazing pool. Since our installation, we've spoken to other neighbors who chose another local builder and unfortunately did not have the same positive results, even though they paid almost the same amount for their pool. Therefore we recommend that people look at all details and results before selecting their pool builder. Great Job Concord Pools Staff! Our family loves the results and can't wait for another pool season and backyard fun!

The pool has been finished. I liked the quality of work, but unfortunately, their workers do not communicate when they have to re-schedule They had a number of times when they would not show up and didn't call leaving you to wait. Jeff Kaufer at Concord Pools was our savior in all this. He would help us when the workers would not show up and would get them to contact us and get them to come. He also was there to answer all our questions. If not for Jeff, I think I would have been very frustrated at times with Concord Pools, but Jeff was there every time we needed him.

I ordered a custom made winter pool cover for my in ground 16 x 32 pool. We unfortunately destroyed the old pool cover before we ordered the new one , so Concord was not able to use the old pool cover as a template, and charged us for drilling new holes and pool anchors in our concrete deck where necessary. The installation went smoothly and quickly. The staff was professional and courteous.

They charge me a lot for the service. They are very reliable and work with me very well. They are prompt and punctual when I make an appointment with them. They are good to deal with and their service people stay with them so the people that I have used have been there for years.

They make it easy to schedule and perform the opening and closing. We schedule the opening and closing during the winter, leave pool items outside on the day of service and they come and do the job. Always do a nice job, treat my things properly and clean up after their work.

O.K. here's my story. We purchased our inground pool from Concord in 1990. Yes, 1990. I have used Concord for opening, closing, all chemicals, repairs, including a new pool liner (which lasted only 3 years before issues started and have had nothing but issues with the pool since), safety covers, etc. since 1990. I do not know what happened to Concords service, but it has gone downhill dramatically. On September 10 of 2012 I had an annual closing scheduled. I have always had a "partial" closing as I am able to place the safety cover, remove the ladders and lower the water level myself. When the Technician arrived, he instantly gave my wife an "attitude" that the safety cover was on and that he could not do the closing as it was on the pool. She called me on the phone and I talked to him. I explained that all he needed to do was take the corners up and also expose the skimmer from the safety cover with the device that concord gave me when they installed the safety cover. He stated that "He knew what he needs to do, but that this was extra and his schedule did not allow for the time". His attitude became a little less when I said "O.K. don't do the closing let me know what I owe Concord for this visit and I'll make other arrangements for a closing." He reluctantly closed the pool. When I came home to look at the pool service, there was debris (return vent pipes were left next to the fence one at each corner, filter and skimmer accessories scattered about, the technician even left his tools around the pool. In October, I had placed a call to Concord to advise them that there might be a leak as the water in the pool was not going above the return lines. We had alot of rain recently and I had expected to drain some water out of the pool as this needs to be done with a safety cover. I asked if they could send someone to check this out. I had to call every week for about 4 weeks. Each time, I was assured that someone would be out and one time was told "they haven't been there yet?" Finally, on November 5th a technician came. It was same technician who closed the pool earlier in this statement. No difference, same attitude. I tried to explain the situation as to the water level, but he just wondered around and ignored me. I then tried to give him his tool that he left from the closing and he just pointed to the other person that came with him. The technician then checked the skimmer, removed the empty jug that was in it, he checked the return lines and said that one of them had loose screws and he tightened them and that was probably the problem. He said to put water in the pool above the returns and check to see if the level subsides. I did as I was told. About a week later I checked the water level and it was much lower. I called Concord stated the issue to a person at the Latham location, was transferred to the "service person" which was voicemail, and stated the issue. I still have not received a return call. Very disappointing. On another note, even though I know the technicians 1st name that gave us the attitude, I will not state his name here. BUT I will state that another Concord technician is awesome. Andrew is an asset to your company and I only wish he could service my pool. He is the reason the rating is not below a C. UPDATE: Concord's Vice President and I are working on the above matters/concerns to achieve an agreeable resolution for all parties concerned. UPDATE: Per Concord's Vice president, Concord opened our pool in early May 2013 and the pool and liner were examined by Concord's Vice President and maintenance supervisor at that time. We all agreed that a new liner needed to be installed and an acceptable dollar amount for this task was reached. The other issues written about previously were to be taken care of internally. As I told Concord I don't mind paying for a new liner, I just don't want the same issues to happen again ie. only lasting three years. I want to thank Concord for taking the time to address our concerns and to come to an agreeable resolution. The liner was changed on 6/3/2013 and as I write this comment, water is being deployed in the pool. Tomorrow I plan on taking a trip to Concord with a sample of the water for evaluation. I want to thank all of the technicians that were on the site as they were not only pleasant but very knowledgeable.
