A technician arrived within 1 hour of my initial call. The estimate was free. The cost was fair. The work was excellent and the parts used were of the highest quality. The employee sent to my home was very professional, knowledgeable and trustworthy. I would recommend this company to other people for any of their plumbing needs

I was told the same "story" as the previous F rating review on here - "Your sewer line is broken and needs to be replaced" I said: "Get a camera down there and SHOW me where it's broken" - any reptutable plumbing company has a camera they can snake into any size drain line to show you CLEARLY what's going on. This guy said their camera wasn't working, BUT they just happen to have an opening in their schedule where they can dig my sewer line up and replace it TODAY for $ 3,800.00 I said: "well... the line is flowing nicely since you snaked it - I'll go with that." He said: "it may last 3 days, or 3 weeks but the broken pipe will eventually catch enough material where it will totally clog again." I said: "I know a professional, commercial plumbing contractor that deals with the company that I work for. They do LARGE projects - I'll get an estimate from them." He immediately said: " let me call my boss." about 10 minutes later he says: "My boss told me he can offer you this one time deal: ( now he's giving me the old PRESSURE SALES TACTIC ) our flatbed truck with the back hoe JUST HAPPENS ( sure ) to be in the area and we can have it come over and dig up your broken line and for the special deal price of $3,000 dollars." I said: "this is clearly a PRESSURE SALES TACTIC you're using - it's illegal and you're trying to take advantage of a home owner. I'm calling my boss to get the number of the company he contracts for large projects. I've seen their work and trust them." So now he starts to try to intimidate me by saying: "well...they need permits and insurance to do the job. what's their name ? " I said: "never mind their name. they have a back hoe, excavator, and are a legitimate business with permits to work all over WNY." The be all end all of the story is...my sewer line is unclogged ( not broken ) and hasn't clogged up since and it's been over 5 years. What else am I to believe other than SUPERIOR plumbing was bullshitting me about me having a broken sewer line. I agree with the conclusion the previous reviewer came to - AVOID SUPERIOR PLUMBING at all costs.

Horrible. They snaked out the pipe which went fine and were going to use a camera to see what was wrong. After snaking they said there were a lot of tree roots and there was definitely a break in the trap area. They said they couldn't get the camera in because of all the mud. They quoted us $4800 to get this all fixed. We said no way. They charged us $350 for about 30 minutes of work- it was a Sunday though. After reading another review on here that had the same issue, we decided to get a second opinion. Thank god we did. The guy snaked out the pipe both ways and said there was absolutely no issue or break or anything. Disgusting what they tried to pull without barely looking. Do not use this service!

This company is great. Came out right away and did the job on the same day. Cleaned up after. We had this company a few times over the last 6 years, always happy with their jobs and service.

On 4/7 I discovered that some of the drains in my home were not draining as they should. I looked online and found superior plumbing. I called them and asked them to come over to take a look at the problem. The plumber who came out "Tony" took a look and after a little bit of time told me that I had a broken sewer line at the trap and clean out and that was the cause of my problem. Tony also used a sewer snake on the line and said that mud was in the line and that confirmed his diagnosis or a broken trap and line. He stated that the winter was so bad this is happening every day. Tony wrote me an estimate for the work of $3650.00. I paid him for the services that day $ 240.00 and he left, my drains still not running. I ended up contracting with a different service to excavate my front lawn to access the "broken sewer trap" and after having dug the 10 foot by 8 foot by 10 foot deep hole we discovered, surprise! THE SEWER TRAP WAS NOT BROKEN! The trap was intact and connected to the pipe. A different plumber from another service who I would HIGHLY recommend came out, accessed the pipe in either direction and found that the sewer was plugged going towards the street and at a spot inside the house. lets be clear, there was NEVER a break in the sewer pipe or trap!. I contacted Superior plumbing and spoke with the owner Dean. Dean would not take responsibility for his plumbers actions, and would not cover the damage that had now been done to my home even when being told I had the invoice from his company that clearly stated the sewer line was broken and needed to be replace as well as pictures that showed the sewer trap in place. It is my opinion that Superior plumbing is scamming homeowners for big repairs when only little ones are needed. I do not want to see anyone else scammed by Superior plumbing, please avoid this company at ALL COSTS!

I had a simple problem My washing machine is on the first floor since this home does not have a basement The knob for the cold water going to the washing machine had a slight leak The technician they sent came walking through my house over the carpet in his dirty wet boots. He didn't have a knob with him and ask me for the nearest Hectors Hardware. He left to get the knob. Then he once again marched through the house in dirty wet boots. He didn't turn off the water and when he removed the old knob water went spraying all over the kitchen area including the ceiling. I was chaged $240.00 for a job that shouldn't have cost more than $50-100. After cleaning water out of my kitchen floor, cupboards, ceiling, and cleaning the carpet, I called Superior and spoke to Dean and explained my complaints He apologized and did give me a $75.00 refund.

Plumber came out to diagnose problem of water spurting from ground, made a few phone calls, provided a reasonable estimate, and came back the next day with a crew to dig out the old pipe and lay a new one. The came out when they said they would, took less time than they estimated. Nice guys, deferred to my requests, didn't disturb my landscaping, put back the existing sod/grass - my lawn is a little lumpy now.

This is my rental property so I wanted to use a company I had used previously and that I knew the quality of the work. They have always been prompt at responding and performing the work. This was no different. Although the price was a little bit of a shock to start with, it did include a complete replacement single faucet Moen shower package and Angel was there most of the day. I might have been able to save a few $'s by shopping around, but the comfort of knowing that the work will be done properly is worth any potential savings I 'might' have found. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again if I needed more plumbing work doing.

I had a kitchen sink drain that was completely clogged. No amount of plunging or gel drain cleaner did any good. I first called a different plumbing company, who came and removed the trap, but that was clean. So he snaked the pipe, but used a wimpy little snake that also did no good. I was amazed that that was the only snake he had. So I called Superior Plumbing. And I couldn't be more pleased. A man came the very next morning, with a heavy duty snake. He snaked the pipe clean, and also snaked the clean out drain. He also changed the p trap, which had an unusual configuration, to make it easier to access if I ever needed to snake it again. He was extremely knowledgable, answered all my questions, took great care of my floor and cabinets, and cleaned up after himself. I couldn't be happier. I would definitely use this company again. I thought the price was very fair.

We had an upstairs water line freeze that was against an outside wall. We turned off the water main when the pipe broke. They were quick to come out, when two others refused. That was the good. Ricky restored water to parts of our house not effected by the break and then came back for repairs a couple days later. The estimate was $1950. Which I thought was high but needed to get it fixed since I was out of town. Water had leaked down the garage walls and ceiling, some damage to ceiling in the dinning room. They worked about 4-5 hours. Cutting dry wall and repairing the broken water line. They moved the line away from the outer wall and used a plastic tube line. Not sure why? My biggest complaints were that the price seemed higher than it should have been and the mess in my garage where they cut the dry wall. The wet dust covered my tools, a compressor, a chainsaw and some other items. All they had to do was cover them with plastic or ask us for a sheet and there would be no mess.

I set up a meeting/estimate, they no-showed and never called. I did not follow up with them, I instead moved on and worked with another company.

This was a simple job and went fine. I selected the plumber because he was local -same town as my father (90yrs elderly). He was only there for 30 minutes. I noticed one other review that advised caution regarding price but my job was so simple I ignored it - my mistake! He started at $300 for the job but eventually reduced it to $220 after my father questioned it. I advised my father to not have the work done but he was too tired and just wanted to wash some clothes. 30 minutes cost $200 - It seems like he's charging $400 / hr. I was so excited about signing up for Angie's List I never thought to get a quote for such a simple thing - also my mistake. The next time I will use Angies list as a starting point only and not let my guard down.

Superior Plumbing were pretty good. The price was a little high. They quoted me a price for a certain length. Then they told me they had to go further, all the way to the sidewalk and they were going to charge me even a more ridiculous price. Then when they didn't go as far as they thought they had to go, they wanted to charge me the same amount of money. I said, "Well, you didn't go as far as you were supposed to go." And we had to haggle back and forth. Once they dig up, then they got you. You can't stop, because you have to pay them for what they did and get somebody else out there. I did like the workers who came out. My problem wasn't with them.

My mothers toilet broke. I called Superior Plumbing. The guy that answered the phone was not the friendliest guy in the world but was not rude. I told him about the broken toilet and he said he would send somebody out. They sent a plumber named Rick who was very friendly, courteous and professional and made my mother feel at ease. Rick gave me a price of $495 which I thought was slightly high, however he did great work, installed a very good quality toilet and received compliments from my mother, so overall I feel it was worth the money spent. I would use them again.

Came out within an hour. repaired the leaking hot water tank within an hour and a half!

A waste of time, do not call these guys.

Can't say enough about Superior Plumbing. He came within 45 minutes as promised, gave us an estimate on a new pump AFTER making sure the old one had indeed quit, came prepared to do the job and reviewed certain upgrade possibilites with me. He was very personable and completed the job in a reasonable time frame as indicated in the estimate, even cleaning up the area around the pump before he left.

When the drains in our recently purchased house started backing up on Memorial Day, we called Superior for help (my wife chose them basically at random from a Google search). Jim and his son arrived 45 minutes later and quickly diagnosed the problem: the sewer line from the house to the septic tank was broken and clogged with mud and rocks. The next day, a four man crew arrived, dug up the line, and recommended a complete replacement. They told us the line was improperly installed by the original plumber (the previous owners did NOT disclose this during the sale). The crew replaced the line from inside of the house, brought it through a new hole in the foundation, and tied it into the septic tank. The tank required pumping and the missing filter was replaced. The Superior guys completed the entire job in one long day and did a fantastic job cleaning up after themselves, both inside and outside of the house. They kept my wife and I informed of every step they took and made sure we understood exactly what they were doing and why. We would definitely recommend this company to family and friends.

Extremely thankful I found Superior Plumbing on Angies list. I called, spoke to someone who said they would be able to get someone round within the hour. I was then kept constantly updated on when they were arriving and what the price would be and what they had to do. very professional. Would highly recommend them.

.I called Superior Plumbing after i noticed my basement was flooded at 5am. They were at my door within 45 minutes. The plumber who arrived that morning was able to relieve the flooding in my basement by snaking through the trap on my sewer. Although the plumber was able to relieve the flooded basement, he was not able to get the snake through the trap. The cutter on the snake was pulling clay (mud) out of my trap. The plumber informed me that the trap was rotted out on the bottom and waste products will continue to build up their until the trap is to be replaced. I signed the work order around 6:30am and the plumber called in another plumber to help and began right away. The plumbers made the repair and cleaned up nicely.

and quot;I treat your house like my ownand quot;. I called superior plumbing at 4:50pm and they arrived about 6pm. Jim immediately found the problem and set up to rooter the line to the street. When he tried to rooter it he found the pipe was crushed and would need to be replaced. A full crew of 5 arrived early the next morning. Prompt, courteous and efficient best describes the crew. They each knew their jobs and worked as a team. The job was completed at 4:30PM. A Friend of mine used another company and though each job is different, he paid $1500 more than I did. The price is expensive but I believe it was fair. I would recommend them to others. In the end they cleaned up, replaced the grass on top with no mound of dirt sticking up. They even removed an old tree stump near the work site for me. They treated my house like their own as Jim said they would.
