Climate King Heating Cooling and Duct Cleaning

I am quite disturbed by this company. They are prompt and neat, but that's it. I took out a service contract with them for a year. I was new to the area and did not know of any company to call and gave Twin Air a try. First they told me the humidifier on the furnace was not working and needed to be replaced. When I had them service the A/C, I was told it would never last through the season and needed to be replaced. Both of the items above turned out to be working just fine after a second opinion, and are still working to date . By the way, after being told by Twin Air that the humidifier wasn't working, when they came the next time, I asked a different tech if it was working, and he told me it was fine. When I questioned the company, I had gotten a very nasty response in return, suggesting the second opinion was given by an idiot. The worst was just recently when I had the furnace tune-up. Rick checked everything and then told me that I had a carbon monoxide leak and it was very dangerous to be in the house and that I should replace the furnace that very week. I then got a second opinion again, since I can't spend money I don't have and I am suspect of this company. Again, the furnace is working fine and it is NOT leaking CO2. I then purchased a monitor to read the CO2 and it reads zero!! This man sat in my house and told me how dangerous it was for me to stay in my home with that furnace, scared me half to death. I feel this is not only cruel, but unethical to outright lie to someone just to make a sale. I will never have this company in my home again and I would not recommend them to anyone, they are out to make a buck and don't care how they do it. As usual, I suspect I will get a nasty response once again, since this is how they operate and I am looked upon as "just another stupid woman".

Technician was knowledgable and honest. He was friendly and performed the work quickly and efficiently.

The workers were on time. The supervisor originally wanted me to be available over a 4 hour window, but when I complained we settled on an hour window of time. The workers were polite, clean and professional. They got the job done in a reasonable period of time and there were no added expenses.

Great. Pointed out suggested preventative work, addressed some simple issues while testing and evaluating the system, answered many questions and generally was a great interaction! A minor scheduling snafu was resolved to my satisfaction the same day.

It went well. Chad was polite, efficient and seemed knowledgeable. He offered me a maintenance program. I chose to simply pay to have the contactor replaced, a minor expense after 18 years of reliable service from my unit. Chad also chased away an urban woodchuck that was charging at us in my backyard. Very heroic in my opinion.

Our AC broke down during one of the hottest days this year and when I made a phone call to Twin Air, Nate was at my home within the hour. He took the time to evaluate the situation and fully explain the problem at hand. He was extremely professional and thorough. We've finally found our "go to" heating and cooling professionals. I highly recommend this company.

Diagnosed why my ac unit was not working. Quick to respond, courteous and professional. Completed the repair quickly and for a reasonable price. They also explained the service plan. And also went above and beyond by helping my wife get all the windows closed once the ac was working again (I was out of town for business). Thank you for your service!

They do good work and are very reliable BUT, the prices they charge for parts is OUTRAGEOUS!. If you are a gold service member they claim to give a 30% discount. However in my case they marked up the prices by 10 times. They charged me $400.00 + for a repair that two of their competitors quoted less than $200.00.
