No watches are sent through the mail, they are hand delivered to our college graduate watch maker who became a certified Accutron Technician in 1972.

Very helpful.  This repair may or may not permanently solve the problem.  If not, they can send it to a high powered watch repair company at which time it will cost something.
I was very heppy with the outcome, they wouldn't take any money.

"It should be noted that I hand carry all watches to my watch maker and he is not a very high powered watch company. Just a graduate watch maker, an expert, and a really good guy. Thanks (Member name removed), but after 70 you lose "high power"."

Took approximately 2 weeks. But what I liked was that the owner used a local watch-maker so my watch wasn't sent out somewhere for weeks on end. It's very difficult to find someone that can repair watches locally. The only issue I had was that the replacement crystal was slightly different than the original crystal. But it did not change the overall look of the watch.

They were very very good. They are reasonable and they did it right there in the shop. If they can’t do it they drive it to New York City to fix it, he won’t send it through the mail.
