Turned out to be an issue with the drain pipe fittings. Said he would pick up the correct parts and be back in a day or two but came by later that same day with the part. Additional work was needed to install the new parts which required them to open the ceiling below the tub so they came back the next day to complete the repairs. Owner stopped by to oversee the effort. Fixed problem, patched ceiling. Will definitely call them first if any plumbing work is needed in the future.

I contacted Steve via Angie's List and heard back from him next business day. He could have provided us with a plumber that same afternoon, but we had some commitments and this was not an emergency, so we scheduled an appointment for 2 days later. The plumber (Matthew? Sorry, not so good with remembering names!) called us 10 minutes before his scheduled arrival to tell us he was on the way. He was extremely polite and personable, and he identified the problem right away. He protected the kitchen floor with a mat and the work area was clean when he left. Couldn't ask for a better experience. We have had several poor experiences with plumbers in the past: not responding to phone messages, and leaving us in the lurch, so we are thrilled to have discovered Hubbard and recommend them highly. Angie's List coupon was honored.

We have consistently used Hubbard for all our plumbing problems; they have tended to toilets, leaks, install new fixtures, in three different bathrooms in our house. They have also talked us through some emergencies without having to come over. I would recommend this plumber.

He found the leak was coming from the upstairs bathroom. He fixed the toliet. The price was fair. They did good work.

Called for appointment and got a window for service 2 days later. Had to call again to adjust the time window to ensure I'd be there and was accommodated with no problems. Scott showed up on time and was courteous and professional. He looked at the issue in the basement and tried and did replicate the problem, which was a back flow of water while the upstairs shower was running. Scott did some more diagnosing and came to the conclusion that it was not a inside house plumbing problem but rather an issue with the septic system (house is not on a sewer system). His recommendation was to call out a septic service. He provided the name of a company Hubbard had used and thought trustworthy. We did call out that company and he was right on both counts. All told Scott was at the house for about 45 minutes. When I asked about invoicing he said there was no charge -- "I really didn't do anything." Hubbard now has my business. And I will highly recommend them to anyone who needs a honest, competent plumbing service.

Steve Hubbard came to our home, reviewed what we needed to have done and later e-mailed us with the estimated cost of the job. Bob and his assistant, Tom, arrived to do the work. We cannot say enough about Bob and Tom. They were highly efficient, neat and polite. Thanks to Steve, Bob and Tom. We are completely satisfied. We will definitely use Hubbard Plumbing again.

The faucet works. I will be asking Hubbard Plumbing back when I redo my bathroom this coming year.

Left a couple of messages and I received no return call, I do not seem to be the only one that cannot get a response from this company. Poor professionalism, better not to work with somebody that cannot even return a call

I hired Hubbard Plumbing to remodel my upstairs bathroom on the recommendation of a family member whose bathroom Hubbard had recently redone (beautifully, I might add!). I could not have been happier with their performance and the results. Steve Hubbard, Bob Tinker, their assistants, and the "trades" they brought in were all professional, highly skilled, and -- especially important to me as a woman -- polite, respectful, and patient with my many questions. They showed up on time every day, worked a full day, and always cleaned up meticulously before they left. Bob Tinker, who did all the carpentry work, was especially helpful in coming up with creative solutions to some design problems inherent to my nothing-is-plumb-100-year-old-house. The price Steve quoted me was not cheap, but it was fair, and when the job was finished there were no surprises and it cost what he'd said it would. My bathroom is elegant and beautiful, and I have a new, trusted plumber whom I have already called on to fix a problem with my radiators, hook up my natural gas generator, and get my slop sink working again. I recommend Hubbard Plumbing wholeheartedly....

Had a emergency plumbing job , called them 2 times and no return call. had to go through 2 answering services to leave message, no return call back.

They came on time and were very professional. They did an excellent job and I would use them again.

They had to return 2 additional times since they could not get the toilet to stop the 'phantom flush'. The men that came were very nice but they were somewhat confused as to how to get the toilet to stop the phantom flush. They had to call in to talk to someone on how to fix the problem. Now, the handle on one toilet is sticking and it did not do this before. Also the float on both toilets unhinge from the handle. I just feel that they could have done a better job. UPDATE: This is my second review of Hubbard Plumbing. After the owner of Hubbard Plumbing saw my last review he called me to fix any problems that I might still have. He personally came to my home and adjusted both toilets. He is a very pleasant man who takes pride in his work. I am very happy with what he did and I feel comfortable in recommending the company.

They are the plumber that I have been using. I used them back in 2003, that is why I called them in for this job. I have used them twice. The first time that they came out, I had them do the major part of the job and then they came out and did the rest of it. He did a lot of work and it is very neat work. The owner will call me back the same day if I call him early enough, otherwise, he will call me the next morning. It is nice to talk to the owner. They do very nice work. I trust Hubbard completely. I have been shocked at how low their prices are. I keep calling them back. After all of these years, he still had my number when I called him for this job.

Fantastic! Bob and his co-worker did the work with the utmost professionalism and quality. Wish I could find more like them for other areas! Will absolutely use them again for any new work and highly recommend them.

He came out and installed this sink. He balanced everything and did an outstanding job. He's a little pricy, but well worth it for craftsman level jobs.

I have used Hubbard Plumbing for years. They are highly responsive! and do quality work. The most recent visit was to try to identify the source of a leak under our kitchen sink. We were not charged because the plumber could not find it. It out that my contractor identified the problem the next day--the hot water valve under the sink had loosened and needed to be tightened. I will still call Hubbard for any plumbing related problem.

It was an excellent experience. The man who came went about his work in a professional manner.

They have worked on general plumbing and the most recent repair was to our gas pool heater which is very tempermental and they cleaned it out (while lying on the ground outdoors - some pretty hard work) and repaired what others had not been able to repair.

Overall, it went wonderfully from start to finish!

He took two days to come out. The faucet started leaking again because he put in the wrong cartridge. He called and checked on the faucet and I told him that is was leaking again so he came out and installed the right sized cartridge. It also became clogged within a couple of months. I didn't call him back after that. It annoyed me and I thought he charged too much.

They insisted they had never seen this brand of faucet and I would need to find a replacement. I called the company, Aqua-Brass and found the part number and price of $80. Hubbard ordered from a plumbing supply company. Two weeks later after I called them to find out what was taking so long, they came and installed it. It works fine now. The next day they called and said we owed them $105. Once again we had a heated discussion on the phone. We had already paid $139 for them to spend 20 minutes removing a screw and they didn't feel they were responsible for the cartridge. They said they could not afford to be responsible for every piece of equipment in everyone's house. We said, just be responsible for the ones you break. They finally gave in but were very rude on the phone and ended off by saying they believed in Karma and they felt that we would get what was coming to us someday. They actually believed we were ripping them off....

Quoted me $275 on the phone. They came and did the work, then mailed me a bill for over $575. They never mentioned the increase in price when they arrived, nor after they completed the job. When I mailed them a check for the amount of the estimate they called me back to "EXPLETIVE' me out and beg for more money. I mailed them a little bit more that we agreed upon on the phone, but that was out of pity for the poor sons who are trying to get into the business with a father who obviously cares nothing about maintaining a satisfied client base. The two young guys who came were very courteous and professional, so I don't fault them and will thus give a B in the Professionalism category.

GOOD WORK WAS DONE WHEN THE DRAIN WAS REPLACED. THE WORKER WAS SKILLED AND HE DID A PROFESSIONAL JOB. THE DRAIN RUNS FREELY NOW AND THE LEAKAGE IS COMPLETELY GONE.
