I called Cross Bros because the first company I called on Friday, 7/23/2010 did not clean the sewer, leaving the house with a backed up sewer all weekend. (The 23rd was a Friday.) Cross responded the following Monday, squeezing us into their very tight schedule because of our situation, and had the sewer cleaned out within 2 hours. They had to replace the pvc installed by the original plumber because it was the wrong size. In doing so, they found the pipe to which the replaced pvc had been attached was rotted and required replacing. They scheduled this work for 2 days later. When Cross Bros returned, they dug out the concrete in the basement to expose that pipe and replace a portion at a time, until they reached a tee that was not rotted where they could attach the new pvc. This potentially saved me a huge amount of money because they did not automatically dig out the whole line all the way to the street. They fully informed me of my options at this point. Every person with whom I dealt at Cross Bros., including the office personnel, was professional, responsive, courteous, and helpful. They answered all my questions patiently. They were there when they said they would be and did a beautiful job. They obviously know their trade, and were considerate and cleaned up after themselves. I give them my highest recommendation without reservation.

Fine and they cleaned up afterwards. They were also recommended to us by the man who does our septic work. I would have them do work again.

They are close by and convenient. The quality of their work is fine.

This was a very positive experience. We are currently traveling, and so were concerned that it would be difficult to find a good plumbing service to fix our pipe. However, Cross Brothers were professional and put our minds at ease.

Called Cross Bros at 0815, Tuesday May 20 for non emergency service call for waste leaking in basement and under control with tape. They stated they couldn't get there till Friday the 23. OK with me. They would call me Friday morning. Friday 0805 Cross people called saying they were on the way. 0830 They arrived at our home. 1030 They were done. There were two guys doing the work and I have no complaints about their work and they were friendly.

Good - were prompt to come in on an emergency, guy who came in was nice, fixed it quickly and checked it after that to make sure. Pricing was somewhat steep especially with the time and a half charged for after hours work.

They are a company that is very good to deal with. They have very professional people working for them and are nice to work with. They answered all of my questions and made sure I understand what work needed to be done.
