Dundee Plumbing & Heating

He was attentive, courteous, neat, punctual and did the job he was asked to do.  I was satisfied with the results and I would use them again.

The man came for the estimate......sized up the situation quickly and quoted what i thought was a reasonable price..he was extremely pleasant and professiona.......came on the day scheduled...did the job quickly and left the work area very neat.....so far the repairs have held up............very very pleased

The job went very well; the only hitch was John's wife going into labor as mentioned above, but this was fine---she had a baby girl weighing 8 lbs. 10oz! (John weighs over 300 lbs.).

They showed up timely.

Service person arrived on time within 90 minutes after the call for inspection on Friday afternoon. Quoted price for replacement of water heater and within 30 minutes workmen showed up with replacement and installed new water heater in less than 45 minutes. They carted away the old boiler. Service personnel were professional and cleaned the work area after work was completed. So far very statisfied with their work.

They were done in an hour and a half.  I had no problems with them.  I have recommended them to other guys.  The pricing is good and their professionalism is great.

We thought they did a good job the first time when they came out on a small job. The second time he came to put the water heater in, he over charged us by about $400 and he just plopped it on the floor instead of putting it up on a pedestal like he was supposed to do. We then had to pay another plumber to do that. Its now been months later and now there is flooding due to the pipe that he installed.

Waste of time.

The first guy who came out was a co-owner of the company.  He didn’t listen to what I was telling him.  He replaced something that didn’t need to be replaced.  He fixed a pipe underneath a sink which had nothing to do with what was behind the wall.  I asked for another plumber, and the other guy was great.  He totally listened to what I said and fixed the problem.  Thus, it was 2 visits.  The second guy was fabulous.  They deducted what the first guy did.  Everything is holding up great now.  The workers who came out were on time.

They’ve done my furnace replacement.  They’ve flushed the toilets.  Their service is great.  Their price is reasonable.  The folks are nice.  I would continue to use them in the future.     

The previous person had done it incorrectly so I had Dundee to fix that. I had two people give estimates and both of them said the same thing was wrong. So I felt comfortable that there wasn't an issue with somebody not knowing what they were talking about. They were just more personable and they came very fast. The other provider was very professional but they were just higher. In fact they called me back to ask what the other price was and I thought they were probably good but I don't know about their work because I went with the less expensive one which I think most people would do. Dundee responded very fast because it was kind of an emergency and I just liked their persona. They were very pleasing to deal with. When they came out, I dealt with one of the owner's. The other company was a larger company, it wasn't the same way and that was a dispatcher. I work in customer service so I find it tough to deal with grading some times. I don't have lot to compare Dundee with the other one and we weren't unhappy with their price. The fix they did is still holding on. They were on time and professional. They gave me a written estimate; they did what they said they would do and also gave me a warranty which is an important stuff.

It was not a big job and you could probably do it on your own. They came over and actually gave me a list of things I could do. They gave me an address where I could go and pick up parts and everything. They could have charged me abnormally for something I could do myself. It was a great experience. They were professional and courteous. I would recommend them. I am thinking of calling them later in the week.

I spent $850 on that work. They were very prompt and I believe they did a good job. They left a mess and I called and left a message but it was after hours. They did not call back. The pricing was fine. They also made a repair in my stove without asking me. Normally it would make sense, but if they had asked me, I would have told them that I had bought a new stove and I found it annoying that they did not check with me.

They were pretty good. They showed up on time and they cleaned up decently. I shopped around a bit and their price was about average.

GREAT "A +" Would and will use them again !!!!

The shower leaked to the basement below. They came and broke out the old floor tiles and enough of the wall tiles to remove the old lead pan. They then constructed a new pan to fit and finally sent a tile man to replace the missing tiles. The job was scheduled for 3 days and that's what it took.

I liked this company. They made me a happy customer. They were friendly and respectful. Those are qualities I look for in companies. I do not recall what I paid this company without looking at my books. I do know I was charged fairly because they were the lowest estimate I received.

I was not particularly thrilled with this company. They lack communication skills. They never wound up completing the work they were supposed to do in my kitchen so I had to call another company to finish their job. I did not find them to be overly friendly or reliable. My general contractor was responsible for paying this company out of what I paid him so I can not comment directly on the prices they charged. I would not use them again primarily because they were unable to complete the work they began doing for me.

The service was outstanding. I called on Friday evening and was called back in 15 minutes. Ian promised to call me in the morning to confirm he would be able to come. He called me the next morning and arrived at noon. He was incredibly courteous and professional. He replaced the gas valve but was not satisfied he had fixed the problem. He further investigated and found that furnace was filthy and throwing carbon monoxide out. He immediately got on the phone and found a contractor to come and clean the furnace and the chimney. They came and about 2 hours later and we had heat restored. Ian called me later just to check to see that everything was okay. He absolutely exceeded my expectations.

DUNDEE IS A GOOD DEPENDABLE, HONEST, AND WELL SERVICE ORIENTED. THE JOB WAS COMPLETED VERY BRIEFLY FROM THE SERVICEMAN ARRIVAL. HE GAVE ME SOME DO'S AND DON'TS SO THAT HE WON'T HAVE TO RETURN A LOT SOONER. THE PRICE WAS REASONABLE ALSO.

I HAD A OVERALL OVERWHELMING EXPERIENCE WITH DUNDEE. THE WORKERS CAME ON TIME AND WERE DRESSED VERY PROFESSIONALLY. THE FURNACE WAS INSTALLED VERY NEAT AND WITHOUT A CLUTTER. MY FURNACE RUNS VERY WELL NOW.

THEY ARE A GOOD COMPANY AND THE WORK IS DONE IN A QUALITY MANNER. I WAS HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE THEY PROVIDED. THEY WERE CLEAN AND DID NOT LEAVE ANY KIND OF MESS FOR ME. THEY WERE VERY GOOD.

THEY ARE A REPUTABLE NEIGHBORHOOD COMPANY THAT WE'VE USED FOR 40 YEARS NOW. THEY ALWAYS DO GOOD WORK, AND HAVE NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS. THEY ARE ALWAYS VERY PLEASANT AND I WOULD NEVER USE ANYONE ELSE.

I WAS VERY SATISFIED WITH THE PROFESSIONALISM MY LOCAL PLUMBING COMPANY HAS. THEY ARE PROMPT, FRIENDLY, AND HELPFUL. THEY HAVE BEEN SERVICING ME FOR MANY MANY YEARS NOW.
