I hired Juan Ochoa of JC Plumbing Corp. for my particular heating problem. I was not getting heat in my basement. January 10, 2018 Mr. Ochoa assessed the problem as the boiler needing a new circulator pump; however, later I would need to have the two by-passes currently on my system removed (at a cost of approx. $750.00) to ensure a proper working boiler. But the pump will get me through this winter. He charged me $580.00. February 9, 2018, I called Mr. Ochoa to inform him the basement was still not getting heat it was barely lukewarm. He advised me to bleed the system, in which I did. February 10, 2018, I texted Mr. Ochoa to inform him that I was still having the same exact problem and could he please come by that Tuesday or Wednesday. He texted back “ok”; and I texted him my address. He did not come by either day nor did he call or text. I called him March 15, 2018 with the same problem but he informed me that he is very busy with all the snow storms we were having; but he would call me when he was available. March 27, 2018, Mr. Ochoa came by and bled the system again and told me that the only thing that would work is eliminating the two by-passes. I reminded him that he said the new pump would get me through the winter. He said the only thing he could do is remove the two by-passes and my system will work perfectly. He then charged me $140.00 for the service call.

The repair man, Juan, was very professional. He was knowledgeable about repairing the tub faucet when I spoke to him over the phone, and he repaired the faucet for me by changing out a part inside the faucet. The price was also reasonable.
