Xterior Solutions put a new 30 yr roof on my house December 2018. 5 1/2 years later I needed a new roof. There was a hole in the plywood that they just shingled over, they didn't vent my bathroom exhaust fans out the roof, the flashings around the pipes and chimney were totally crap. The ridge vent was not big enough for the heat to escape which caused the plywood and shingles to buckle. There were 2 layers of plywood in places. I had a new ac system installed and the HVAC guys said it was too hot in the attic and suggested I needed a roof fan. I called Xterior Solutions to ask about that. Their suggestion was that maybe insulation slipped into the soffits and I should get kids to go up there and pull it away or buy radiant barriers. They didn't seem too concerned about helping me. I contracted with L&G home remodeling. Luis crawled around the hot attic (Xterior Solutions never went into my attic) and on the roof. Lots of places the shingles were heaved up, the flashings were done poorly and it was leaking around the chimney. See the pictures. I would NEVER recommend Xterior Solutions to anyone. Hire someone reputable.

Outstanding service all around

Beware of a false claim that they will protect your property when doing the job and completely clean up after themselves when finished. In my case, they did not totally clean my yard and left waste and damaged my hedges, shrubbery, and railing. Excuses were given at the end, but that didn't repair the damage. I am repairing everything myself now. My recommendation about their quality of service is a poor one. Beware of this.

After a lousy consultation from a 'big-box' store regarding home siding, we felt a bit overwhelmed by how challenging it may be to obtain new home siding for our 1931 craftsmen style home. This is our first home so we need to be able to trust and connect the professionals that we hire to do the job well. And trust we found in Xterior Solutions! Steve from Xterior was personable, knowledgeable, and always kept the communication easy and open on the progress of our project. There was no question to small or to big and we really appreciated his help throughout the entire process. The workers were pleasant, accommodating, and completed a fantastic job! After considering several roofing companies, I decided to hire Xterior Solutions to repair my roof. After looking over the area of concern, the project seemed to be pretty routine and Jason was able to identify where the problem was and what needed to be done to correct it. He also had the lowest bid for the job, The fix of the roof was done quickly and professionally. The problem was and this is the reason for the 2 stars was the replacement shingles did not match my roof. Jason reassured me when he was competing for my business, that he would be able to closely match the color of the shingles on the rest of the roof, well it was not even close. The repair to the roof because of the color of the replacement shingles stuck out like a sore thumb and shouted that a repair had been done to the roof, which detracted from the appearance of my house. Jason essentially told me that this was the best he could do and I should not expect anything better. He then attempted to tell me that we would have to pay an additional charge to remove the shingles that his workers had installed and to replace them with shingles that we had found through a search on the Lowes website that were an exact match to the surrounding shingles. He left me feeling that he sent whatever shingles he had laying around his warehouse and did not look to make his work as seamless as it should have been. Not good customer service. He only changed his tune when he discovered that I had not paid his workers and still had his check. To his credit, I think he conceded; he did make this situation right by sending his workers over to replace the shingles that he had used with the ones we had purchased, at no additional cost to us. Lesson learned on my part. I don't want to gyp anyone for work that they have done, however; I will not be swindled either and left with a completed project that leaves me anything but completely satisfied. That is the reason for using Home Advisor and the interview process with the recommended companies. The work done by the workers that he sent to my home was excellent, both times that they were here. I just wish that Jason and I had a better accord over the shingles, then they would have come just once.

If you need gutter guards, this is the company you should choose! An excellent product and a most professional installation!

Xterior Solutions sent two young men from another family company to actually do the work. They did a good job, were polite, professional and used Xterior Solutions forms. But, I can't help thinking I paid more than your high end average price because the workers were actually from a different Company representing the one I actually contracted. Time will tell if the moss will come off the roof.

I wasn't able to change the type of service on this questionnaire, but in the end we opted for a new roof & gutters instead of the clean. Jason, Valerie & his crew were professional, personable, thorough and highly experienced. I could not be happier with the end result and Xterior Solutions turned a very stressful situation into a breeze.

Everything that Xterior Solutions said would happen, did happen. They were on time. The job went quickly and they cleaned up after the job was finished. The price was exactly what they said it would be, no more, no less. Excellent work. I would hire them again and recommend them to friends and family.
