Mr. Helder did a Phenomenal job. The day fell on a heavy down pour of rain, but that didn’t stop his duties. He explained what he was seeing, took so many pictures. He was thorough , detailed and upfront. Friendly as well. I would recommend him 100 times over. His knowledge has assisted me to make an informed purchasing decision. Look at his credentials and experience, he’s reliable and affordable. I’d recommend someone like Mr. Helder

I would highly recommend Glen. He was reasonably priced and he went out of his way to make sure I was satisfied.. He produced a report with pictures and detailed description of everything that was wrong with the house. He told me I can call him with any questions and he genuinely had my best interest in mind.. I would recommend him to anyone interested in purchasing a home.

Glenn was able to schedule on short notice at a time that worked for all necessary people to be present. Glenn's inspection was thorough and he was happy to have me walk through with him and ask lots of questions. His report was detailed with pictures for any notes or issues found. His pricing was very reasonable for the amount of time spent, close to 4 hours. Glenn did perform a termite inspection as well, but he is not licensed to produce the NPMA 33 termite inspection report that was required by my bank. The termite inspector did not find anything that Glenn did not, but it was an additional expense. I would not hesitate to use Glenn for future home inspections.

We engaged Mr. Heller's services to do a pre-sale inspection based on the experiences of friends who put their homes on the market, then got buyers who had their homes inspected only to find themselves scrambling to do repairs to complete the sales. We chose Mr. Heller based on reviews on Angie's List. We called to make an appointment and he showed up on time and inspected the house thoroughly. He took the time to explain in detail as he was going through the inspection and was very responsive to our questions. Later that day he submitted a comprehensive report by email. The report includes photos, ratings of areas and items inspected, as well as descriptions of all the recommended repairs or replacement. Mr. Heller was personable and professional and we highly recommend him.

I would recommend Glenn in a heartbeat. We hired Glenn to perform a home inspection. He took the time to explain in detail as he was going through the inspection any issues that popped up. Although we couldn’t get to the appointment to see Glenn in action, our real estate agent was very pleased with his promptness and thoroughness. I received a call after the inspection with a summary of issues and concerns identified. Several hours later I received the full report in an email. It was thorough, complete and accurate. I was very pleased with picking Glenn and woukd recommend him to anyone.

I should not have hired him = that was my mistake. He refused to check the appliances other than the heat and the A/C in the home. He said that it was irrelevant as from the time of the inspection to the day of the walk through many things can go wrong with an appliance. So I went along with this nonsense. I hired him for an additional $75 for the final walk through and we noticed that the front left burner of the stove top was broken. Also noticed that the sink had a gash in the front of it which he did not notice at the inspection. He said he did not document the cosmetic view of appliances. The sink is not an appliance and he did not even notice a gash in the front. At the closing the sellers refused to take a nickel off of anything. They said we should have noted the defective stove burner and the sink gash before the closing. Overall I would say that Glenn's inspection report was mediocre at best. By not even inspecting the stove, he missed the broken burner which I should have been compensated for and the sink gash also. After the fact, I was told it is imperative to check the appliances at a home inspection and he did not do this. He was supposed to be my 2nd set of eyes and he failed.

My wife and I purchasing a home for the first time.
