quick and accurate

Contractor gave estimate for job in manhattan to repair our flat leaking roof with a deck on top and planters. After we signed a contract in October, 2015 and gave him $2000 deposit, delays kept occuring due to parking problems, unsure how to proceed with deck and planters and the weather. Winter came and we decided to wait till spring. Spring came and he looked at the job again and never started because of his indecision on how to proceed. Getting frustrated and loosing confidence in the contractor, we hired someone else to do the job. We told him we wanted to cancel the contract first. He was surprised and disappointed but we couldn't wait any longer with this leak. We asked for our deposit back and he is not returning it. He said he did not know how to handle this. It never happen to him before. Well he never should have taken this job, especially since he kept complaing about coming to Manhattan from Queens, parking problems and problems handling deck and planters. One other matter, he kept telling us how religious he was and trustworthy. Well, I hope Home Advisor can help get our deposit back.

Steve and his crew members did an outstanding job at a fair price repairing my house and garage slate roof. Steve was the only roofer interviewed out of four who checked the damage done to my second floor ceiling due to the water damage caused by the roof problem. Also one of Steve's employees showed me before and after pictures on his cell phone of the roof sections repaired. Steve and his crew are very thorough workers.

Steve is highly professional, honest, did a great job, fair price, very nice guy too. Always available to talk and explain what he was doing. He fixed the leaky roof, found the source of a leak in the basement , and also fixed leaks around the windows. He did an excellent job. Highly recommend him.

Steve and his crew completed our roof in two days. It entailed a house and garage. Steve made himself available to us every step of the way. He was prompt and his crew was early each day. They worked on the house and completed 90% of the work in one day. They finished the whole project in two days. Steve was courteous, caring and knowledgeable about this difficult project. Where the previous job done 20 years ago showed deficits, Steve corrected every detail that needed attention. He answered questions and took care of everything professionally. His crew cleaned up the whole area including the neighbors' properties so that there wasn't a nail or any debris left. He has an experienced crew who he trusted enough to start and finish the project without any problems. Steve waited from June until August so that the project could get underway. Delays were caused by us due to illness in the family. He showed compassion and understanding throughout this delay and was ready to start as soon as we were ready to begin. I cannot put into writing all that he has done for us. Neighbors and others approached him and us to inquire about the beautiful job that was done. We couldn't have imagined the finished project compared to the state of the old roofing job done previously. I recommend Steve and his wonderful crew to anyone considering a roofing project.
