Great professional job, cleaned after themselves

I cannot say enough great things about this floor experience. Scott came by within just a couple days of our request for a quote and talked us through everything, showed us tons of wood samples, gave us very professional advice and a quote for all the work we discussed. 1.5 weeks later the wood was dropped off, and the following week the floors were installed (took only 2.5 days for the install of 3 bedrooms and connecting hallway). Everyone was extremely kind and the work was done beautifully and efficiently. If I have more floors redone in my home I would absolutely go with Genco again!

Carpet and trim

Can't speak highly enough about Scott and his team. Scott was very patient as my wife and I went through all the samples to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. He went above and beyond. Alex and the team were on time every day, very professional and cleaned up at the end of each day. If you want new flooring there's no one else I would recommend.

We had Genco do our floors when I re-did my basement and was so impressed with the quality of their work and product that we called them back when we put hard wood upstairs, and again when we put vinyl in bathroom and entryway.

From the first consultation with Scott to the final day of installation, my wife and I have been continually impressed by level of professionalism, the quality of craftsmanship, and the respect for our home. There isn’t a single complaint I could muster up even if I tried. We have been searching for flooring consistently for six months and we were going to settle for a product we didn’t love, all until Scott presented us with exactly what we were looking for: a matte finish 5” white oak floor. We feel more than confident recommending his services to others and would be thrilled to work with Genco again in the future. Thanks guys!

I couldn’t of asked for a better experience from the entire team. Scott was professional from day 1 and it carried over to his crew onsite installing my new flooring. Alex led the crew and was fantastic. The thing I loved most was Scott brought his shop at home service van to our house for my wife and I to choose materials and colors. It was great and didn’t have to leave the house. His show room on wheels is ideal and makes everything so much easier. We had Genco Flooring do our kitchen, dining, den and study (1,600 sqft) back in March 2018. Now we have them doing the rest of the house. We are pleased to have them now do the Living room, laundry and three bedrooms, including master bedroom with walk-in closet. A big job 1,200 square feet with lots of heavy furniture to juggle around. Day 2 Morning: Jason and his two hardworking crew, after just a little more 10 hours on the job so far have all carpet and padding removed, staples removed and vacuumed clean and underlayment down. They cautiously relocate furniture. They don’t take breaks and only one eats a quick lunch at a time!! Before putting down the 1/2” plywood underlayment they went about looking for old floor squeaks and re-screwed to stop them. They raised and leveled our electric baseboard heaters. I can’t believe how tight and close to the wall edges they put the 1/2” underlayment down. Amazing how many sheets of wood were brought in around corners in our freshly painted halls and rooms, now a single ding or scratch because they were so careful. One more day! Scott quoted a three day job, and he made sure it was done in three by adding another man on the crew. The laminate is down and looks beautiful. Now the 5 1/2” baseboards, just a little over 500 linear feet. I have a long house and the crews had to walk from inside out to the driveway to make hundreds of cuts to make them fit perfectly. Quickly and efficiently they worked, all crew members keeping busy and still no dings or scratches on any walls. Closets done too!! With stud finders they were secured firmly, and then their top edges and corners, brad nail holes sealed with chalk to perfection. Scott’s crew are very polite, courteous and dedicated to great quality. Scott stopped by to check on the work and a friendly chat. All I can say is “AWESOME WORKMANSHIP”!! In the two jobs, I’ve had both crews; both were excellent and a pleasure to have in our home. Thanks!! We’re OVER THE TOP HAPPY!!

PERFECTLY! Scott took the time we needed to explain our options, the pros and cons, cost etc... He gave us a very fair price, his crew did a great job. They were very professional yet still friendly each time we used them. They went over and above in a couple of instances such as cutting and leaving a peice of baseboard they could not install because we were behind schedule getting our wall up... we couldn't believe they were able to "guess" the exact length we would need. Such a help! And they cleaned up everything when done. I'm not stating cost below because this was 3 different jobs.

I’ve used Scott in the past and I’ve always been very pleased. So when my kitchen flooded and I need new flooring in kitchen and dining room I immediately called Scott. Despite Covid 19 Scott was prompt pleasant and PPE prepared. The process was smooth and very stress free. I have high expectations when I hired for services and Scott and his team not only meet but exceed my expectations. I have used Scott for many projects inside( carpet, flooring) and out ( carpet pool area). And I’ve always been more than pleased. bedroom carpet installation

Professional, conscientious, kind, fair, and dependable. From start to finish, Scott helped my elderly mom choose her flooring, tackle the smell in her basement (and got rid of it), and install her new flooring. Her ground floor now looks fabulous and smells great! Scott and his workers went above and beyond to make sure Mom was happy. Scott was in communication with us for each step of the way, with a clear estimate and execution of the job. We would use Genco Flooring services again!

The team arrived promptly at 8am as they said they would. They were very courteous, knowledgeable & thorough. By 5:30pm I had a fabulous, CLEAN new basement floor! Punctual, Courteous, Fast, Very Clean and Follow-up call from Owner!!! We live in a fairly remote area and finding qualified contractors is difficult. Finding contractors that do a good job is nearly impossible... The Job: we have a pet that urinated along a wall. After many attempts to clean the carpet, we realized that the urine made it's way to the tack strip and below the padding. The Owner: I put my job profile into Angie's list and within an hour, Scott - the owner, called me back. I was impressed from the first call. Instead of sending someone to look at the job and then schedule a follow up visit (which normally takes weeks), he listened carefully and scheduled a person to repair my carpet in 2 days!!! The Expert: Alex, the carpet repairman, called me on time. I was going wash the tack board and padding with bleach, but Alex had a better idea. For just a few dollars, we would replace the padding and tack board and that way, the smell couldn't return. Brilliant. I like it when contractors use their expertise to come up with a better idea than me. The Work: Alex expertly cut in a new piece of carpet (we had some left over), replaced the padding and tack board. My daughter, wife and I all inspected the area on our hands and knees and couldn't find the seem. Stunning result. The Clean Up: Alex left the area so clean, that my wife spent an hour vacuuming the rest of the upstairs to match Alex's work. Really, when was the last time a contractor left the site in BETTER shape than when he got there!!! The Price: exactly what I was quoted The Follow-up: even after telling Alex everything was perfect, we still received a follow-up call from the owner asking how everything went. Truly professional. I would recommend this team to anyone.
